email announcement Wrote:We apologize that Overstock.com Auctions and BuySafe have decided to temporarily suspend availability of the BuySafe.com service on Overstock.com Auctions.

How does this affect me, the seller?

The suspension means that sellers will no longer be able to bond their Overstock.com Auctions items with the BuySafe.com service, and for the near term we do not have another purchaser assurance program available other than the current seller rating system.

How long will this last?

We hope to have the BuySafe service restored in the near future, and will let you know when it's available.
Shocking news NOT! All the bonded sellers either left when the fucktards at Overstock eliminated subscriptions or they moved over to the retail side (http://www.channeladvisor.com/overstock/).

Sneaky's guide to Overstock for sellers:
O Auctions:  Sleepy1 Puke
O Shopping:  Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup
I'm surprised that they (or any other service providers) supported the auction side as long as they did.  There isn't enough activity there any more to justify the costs (development, personnel, etc)  of maintaining support for O auctions.
