UPS service is once again available in South and Central Florida with the exception of the Florida Keys. Storm damage and power outages are causing service to be limited in some areas and have affected the scheduled movement of packages in Florida.  Customers may experience delays in pickup and delivery. Conditions may also affect the hours of operation at UPS Customer Centers.

We are working to restore full service in all parts of Florida as quickly as possible.

The U.S. Gulf Coast continues to experience the effects of severe infrastructure damage caused by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina.

As a result, UPS service is suspended indefinitely in certain ZIP Codes in the Lake Charles area of Louisiana, and in sections of New Orleans. These are locations where damage is most severe and access may be restricted by authorities. See below for a list of suspended ZIP Codes.

Critical air shipments to recipients in the suspended service areas can be sent using UPS Hold for Pickup service. See Sending Critical Air Shipments for instructions. 

In addition to the ZIP Codes listed below, other communities have experienced damage and dislocation. We recommend you contact your consignees in the Gulf Coast region before you ship, to determine if they are receiving deliveries. Per UPS Terms and Conditions, service guarantees do not apply where transportation networks are disrupted.

We continue to monitor and update service area information. We are restoring service as areas become accessible and it is safe for our people to return to work.
