...and just like its twisting of the number of US sellers who make their living on eBay, I'm sure that eBay UK's PR department is touting that 50,000 people make their living selling on eBay...even if that "making a living" amounts to only £3,000 a year.

Federal tax collectors in both Australia and the UK have now started to crack down on undeclared online income.  I wonder if the sellers in the UK who don't declare their income are still collecting VAT tax and just pocketing it since I know on some UK auction sites it is mandatory that all sellers collect VAT?
