Quote:Online photo-hosting services are nothing new, but Yahoo's "Flickr" seems to have raised the bar (http://www.flickr.com). Quote:Right now, I want to get the big disadvantage out of the way: you can't directly link to individual images in Flickr. You can't put a Flickr URL in your auction HTML and then expect it to show up on your auction page

:Smile :Smile :Smile

so why suggest it as a possible host for eBay auction pictures? using one host for the main picture and linking to other photos of the item on flickr seems like a time wasting pain
I'm all for new services--but doesn't the name "flickr" make anyone else wonder if their photos will "flicker" when viewed by auction users?  ^-^

My only experience with flickr was when we were adding flickr integration to our blogs service.  I wasn't impressed with it at all as a photo host..  Its good if you want a "social" photo hosting experience though, I think...  :twistedevil:

EDITED to add link to entire article on flickr
