I have a couple blogs at blogger. I find that I get error messages from some submission sites, apparently the blogger.com feed cannot be read by all the sites (weird, but anyway...)

One submission site recommended adding the code below to the template. They did not say where to put it, or if this would help Blogger get read. Is this some kind of adapter, or is there a universal adapter I can add?

Code:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="[Feed title]" href="[Feed URL]" />

The site said "This tag is used by several browsers and spiders ..."
After the site name and the blogspot dot com bit, my site feed says: /atom.xml  .

So this thing tells the submission sites that an atom.xml is now a rss.xml???    Poof???

Forgive my ignorance, but it seems they could do that without this code.  Violent1

So it goes anywhere in the "head" section, I guess.

Hey, it is an advantage over those who do not have the secret code.    La

Thanks Mandy.
