No wonder P.S. can't sell enough to buy ass wipe. She's too busy spamming the net like a banshee.

Edit: Never mind about Amazon, appears to be all old posts.

Well, after reading this thread, I think I know why PS prefers WP to Amazon...  :toothy9:

Hello Members,

Just a quick addition regarding any questions or curiosities about the depth of the campaign and our expecations on how it will affect the marketplace that I thought might be worthy of discussion.

Our projections for January 1st 2008 are:

1. 3125 Stores
2. 1.5 million listings in all formats

Imagine the effect that will have on our already active marketplace

That's a projected 480 listings per store.

The 167 stores they've added this month are averaging 35 listings per store (only 6,000 new listings this month)

More from WPs infamous marketing strategy:

eBay seller "generalsstore" is spamming for Pooperville in all his eBay listings. And guess what he sells? Auto-related items (emblems, parts books, etc.).

And MORE from the Grand Ol' "Creative" Marketing strategy of spamming the eBay boards:

http://forums.ebay.com/
db2/thread.jspa?messageID=2009378193&forumID=143&x#2009378193

Edit: Someone should tell Ray that his dopey site has nearly 3,000 references and back links to eBay in the listings. One seller with links may be selling fake "designer" apparel (at least according to the negative feedback).

And on another seller's WP payment instructions:
"Payment must be made within 5 days of auction closing. Failure to do so will result in a Non-Paying Bidder Alert to eBay."  :happy001: :happy001: :happy001: (Bolding mine) BTW: This seller has been a member since 7/2006 and has only 3 FBs including 2 as a BUYER.

Let the clueless parade begin.

From the eBay boards:

"I am so glad to all the hundreds of you that have wrote to me to be able to pass on the name of the other site. Sorry if I did not have time to put a more personal note to you all. I have had HUNDREDS of emails.

A couple things I would like to point out as I do not have the time to email this to everyone that has contacted me.

The site that I am happy with has had the MOST eBay refugees with nearly eight thousand in one weeks time. This site was also started by a EX-eBay power seller. Some one who will be far more understanding of our needs. Also, you cant really go by what you might have seen at these other sites say a month or two ago. A LOT HAS CHANGED. People are on the move. Also, this has been in the news. Buyers will start looking around. They will find us.

I am hoping with the money that the owners of this other site have received recently from all the new members that they will invest it in advertising.

Pardon Moi? DB, surely they were not referring to Poopland. At the start of business Jan 29th when the official announcement came out about the new Feebay cost structure the membership number was 16630. As of earlier today it has risen to 18160 - an increase of 1,530 in roughly 7 weeks. A far cry from 8,000 in one.

Was the claim made via the same source that predicted the Pooper selling force would be 1,000 by the end of this month?

What's amusing are the number of new sellers that have already abandoned ship. Looks like AndRay is also watching history repeat itself.

Yep! The reference was to Poopland. Go to the link and see for yourself. VIVA la spamathon of made-up stats on the eBay boards.
Edit: And the source was a supposed newbee in love (?) on WP.
