Ok here is my question regarding the "new" policy..... Do we know if or when it changed? Did he ever announce the change to the current and older sellers there? I was wondering if it had changed after I closed my account,

Actually, I think this was part of the "privacy policy" all along -- or at least for a very long time, at least from before the March "Grand Re-Opening". I remember bringing it to this thread sometime around then. I'd have to see if I can dig it up, but this was a major concern of mine -- that there was nothing "private" about the "privacy policy" and no "opt out" feature.

Edit: As I recall, the right to share members' information with "third parties" was not actually in the Registraton Agreement. It was buried somewhere in the TOS, and it basically stated that WP can and will "share" information with "third party partners." My concern was not only for the members still there, but for the thousands of X-members who had no protections whatsoever. Ray has all our personal information and will forever, and ever, amen to do with whatever he likes.

From an eyewitness perspective I would have to agree with Sneaky on this one. Anybody interested in the car forsale? I could go knock on the door and ask him if he would take payments in the form of $9.95 a month.  :icon_scratch:

Only if he agrees to pay the $443 monthly that the parking garage down the street charges.

EDIT: only if he agrees to pay $475 monthly for parking.  I forgot about the 8% long-term parking tax surcharge he'd have to pay since he's not a Manhattan resident.

Betcha it's more 3 blocks west of ya.  :happy001: :happy001: :happy001: And besides this hunk of junk needs a winshield and at least a Franklin to fill er up. You would be better off taking your chances at hailing the cash cab once a month and make a few bucks. Hope it helps  :happy001: :happy001:

#1.  :spam4: SPAM planning sessions in progress on the WP boards  :spam4:

I have been talking to my ex about how we could promote Wagglepop. He is the IT Director for a company who owns the National American Home Database (yes, Big Brother does exist!) Every major company (and the govt too) - uses this database. He is trying to work out a deal with his company under the guise of testing the system to send out a generic email about Wagglepop to at least 100,000 email accounts. This would be free of charge for us, and he may be able to schedule it on a monthly basis.

The purpose of this thread is for the community to come up with a SHORT email that promotes Wagglepop...

She paid a "designer" to create that lovely example of (un)usability.

The designer responsible for the template -prices for an eBay Stores package range from C$146 to C$246:
http://stores.ebay.ca/Enchanted-Existance

The designer seems to be fond of 3000px wide templates, animated sparkly gifs, scrolling text (both left to right and right to left on the same page), poor navigation, and ignoring eBay's prohibition against using < body > tags.  Another sampling of her work:

OMG! Yuk! The only thing that could possibly make that home page more annoying would be adding a little John Philip Sousa ditty or perhaps the 1812 Overture synched with the firing of the sparklies.

Here's what the "True Businesspeople" have been brainwashed to believe about business.
Showcase stores for $40/month, most are featured AND showcase for $50/month, but I will give them all the benefit of the doubt, only have a couple who may qualify as businesses. We all know businesses must make a profit at some point.
Here's what the featured stores have made in sales the past month.
Berning's Bargains  3 Sales Avg Price $2, Total $6
SILVER CHARM LIQUIDATORS  234 FB, 25% or more as a buyer, estimated 160 sales. Avg price $2, Total $320
Beads By Brenda  6 Sales avg price $1, Total $6
Unique Bookmarks and Beads  13 Sales - Avg price $1, Total $13
Rick K's Vintage Plus  16 Sales - avg price $4, Total $64
JUST SAM DESIGNS  33 Sales  avg price $6, Total $198
BOUTIQUE of BABY TREASURES and MORE  4 Sales Avg Price $12, Total $48
Cavalier Collectibles  7 Sales Avg Price  $4, Total $28
Paula's Collectible Paper NO Sales in 9 months
Phat Turtle Historic Photographs  NO sales since registering 1 month ago
Eye Catching Beauty  NO Sales
MimisBeads  2 Sales, one for $29, one for $2, Total $31
Oak Island Treasures  9 Sales avg Price $5, Total $45
Denim_Blues  NO Sales  31 Items Listed
Zip Attic  NO Sales  23 Items Listed
harley davidson sales  NO Sales   8 Items Listed

That's what I call true business. 5 out of 16 stores are selling more than the $40 fee, and we all know that 2 of them are also Featured, paying $50/month, so it only leaves 3.

This is out of true concern for the newer sellers with any store, especially featured stores. Everyone on WP told me "most buyers don't leave feedback," but when I found out most actually DID, and asked for proof that the sales reports (cancelled by AndRay) were correct, it started my excommunication proceedings. If ANY Popper who reads this (I know of plenty who do) can please post links to your sold items to see that you actually DO sell, please do so. Otherwise, I will now do everything in my power to let the entire online selling community know the truth about Wagglepop.

Why? Yesterday, I went through the registration process at WP to see if there was an opt-out clause for the selling of personal info. Ray must have been reading here, because in exactly 3 minutes of me registering (I never activated or di the phone thing, never would have risked my info being compromised) he had my unactivated account closed and a nice little email for me:

AP

So, he has threatened to kill me for checking into his privacy policy. Hmmm... I'm still trying to decide whether I want to waste the time on someone like Ray by filing a police report, or if I should just post the email publicly to newspapers in New York. Oh, and if anyone wants to see the email, I'll be glad to send you a link to the screenshots. If you are another anti-WP member in trust based good standing, please just PM me with your email if you'd like to see it for yourselves. :)

The poppers probably told her to ignore the 2 morally bankrupt miscreant infiltrators on PSU who criticized her storefront.

I was always amazed by people who were only grossing $300-$400 on eBay but thought nothing of spending $700-$1000 for custom eBay storefronts.   ::)

That sounds more like RR. He's fond of using the m-f word in emails and PMs.

Post the email (with headers showing the WP origination) on PSU where it will get some views.
