Credibility refers to the objective and subjective components of the believability of a source or message.

Traditionally, credibility has two key components: trustworthiness and expertise, which both have objective and subjective components. Trustworthiness is based more on subjective factors, but can include objective measurements such as established reliability. Expertise can be similarly subjectively perceived, but also includes relatively objective characteristics of the source or message (e.g., credentials, certification or information quality). Secondary components of credibility include source dynamism (charisma) and physical attractiveness.

credibility component #1 Expertise: A+ rating -- built a $15 million per year video poker  business and a $3 million per month sports betting operation, and his new startup, like his past endeavors, is essentially a gambling business.

credibility component #2 Trustworthiness: F rating --2 Federal prison terms and his recent July 2009 release from a federal prison decrease the likelihood the average customer will trust him with their personal information or money.

secondary credibility components (charisma, physical attractiveness): subjective F rating.  I don't find him attractive.

He doesn't stand a chance in hell of succeeding if he's sourcing his merchandise through Amazon.  Their 3P marketplace is starting to resemble eBay: 3 of the last 10 orders I placed through 3P sellers were cancelled because the items weren't in stock, a "refurbished" item I bought was very used and obviously stolen (the serial numbers were filed off), and then there was the bottle of body lotion I didn't buy from a new Amazon seller (ex-eBayer) because the description said "this was my deceased mother's, the bottle is half empty but the lotion is still usable"
