Oh, and about the ownership, I've stated before that Mark is the owner still, I am a 25% holder
http://www.powersellersunite.com/post-264558.html#264558

3 versions of who owns Plunderhere:

Nisan: 75% Mark, 25% BidBoink -Malaysia/Oklahoma
Mark: Palgold Card Services LLC -Delaware
WHOIS: Plunderhere (owner)/David Taylor(contact) -UK/UK

Buying and selling online shouldn't be scary and you don't have time to be a private detective and track down your sellers auction site owner's contact information before making a purchase paying a $5 annual fee!

Wow, not only has the new/old "Tech Guy" added nifty avatars for folks to show their favorite Looney Tunes character, but he also changed the layout of the feedback page:
http://www.plunderhere.com/user_reputation.php?user_id=104037#

From eBay:
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=wantwishget

See any resemblance?

Can you say lawsuit?
Near exact replica of the trademarked Powerseller logo AND
PH:
Diane21921  (1073) Verified Seller
Positive Feedback (last 12 months): 100.00% [How is Feedback Percentage calculated?]

eBay:
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=wantwishget

That's enough of a copy to get slapped with cease and desist orders and infringement lawsuits that get pretty nasty in the EU Mark.
eBay really does have a few folks that monitor eBay "alternative" sites. They aren't scoping out "competition" like many eBay "alternative" owners believe. They are called lawyers, and the look for this exact type of plagiarism and trademark infringement.

(yes, I remembered you (you=BidWhale) from some horrible exchanges on the feedback board, and a memorable one where you were defending people that sold "empty" prescription bottles on eBay.

By welcoming drug dealers to Plunderhere's mix of Nazis, counterfeiters, and boinktards it's obvious Marktard is positioning the site to be an iOffer alternative not an eBay alternative. :twistedevil:

lol, this is very upsetting Sad

all that work and the new changes i had just made that were ready to go into effect. I am so sorry, and mad at the same time. my apologies.
Quote
well I won't leave you in the dark for too long.

to make this very short:
This months bill is due and Mark pops up from nowhere, says he can't pay the bill and they are going to close the server. that he has been in the hospital. I send him $80 for this months server 9a little more than my 25% share). he disappears again, didn't pay the server, won't respond to me at all. I try to pay iweb for the server, they will not let me pay b/c his name is on the account. he won't even send me the details to even pay the server.
Quote
No need for apologies. Before i got this deep into and put my name on it I should have made sure i had full access to all aspects of the site. Fingers crossed Mark will show up, but 5 days and no word I can just hope.... I am so upset about this I'm at a loss for words.

The whole flippin' thing is a scam. I get spam emails on two email accounts. The one I registered at Wagglepop, and one I registered at Plunderhere. That's the only two accounts where I get more than the occasional spam message, and I get hundreds a week at both.
I wonder why the officers of the boinktard Palgold company aren't rolling David's brother out the door after 10 or so unexplained lengthy downtimes. Maybe it's because there really isn't any connection and Mark flipped through the Malaysian lawbooks and found out he can impersonate anyone he wants? Maybe David found out he could use the LLC through Mark in Malaysia, scam folks, and let Mark who lives in Malaysia (no extradition) take the blame.
Malaysia (Where Mark lives) has a very poor cyberspace security network, but they do catch up in short time. The trouble is, they don't really do much because they are so overwhelmed with international trade issues to notice.
By the way, did I mention that Mark lives in a flippin' 3rd world SE Asia country where no one in the U.S. or U.K. can touch him legally?
And the plunderers trusted him, forgave him many times, and now they are mad for him abandoning them... Sounds like their first instincts were right.

This is why I firmly believe anyone who puts their faith solely on little auction sites are doomed to fail just like those sites. If you want to be on these sites for the community, it's fine to join. Research the owner, see their history and go for it. But only do so once you establish yourself with your own site, and only do it with someone you can really trust. Get your own business in your own control, then go join them for the "community" aspects of selling when you just get tired of looking at your site all day. You can even make a few extra sales with a few forum posts about your products. But Wagglers and Plunderers can tell you, don't use them for any long term plans. That's what your own website is for, and if you enjoy chatting, do that one as a hobby.

Or, if you seriously must use auctions to sell, do your own thing like Bargainland or Emovieposter who both get more real traffic (not link exchanges) to their auction sitesmostly by themselves than PH and WP did combined.
Bargainland: http://siteanalytics.compete.com/bidtopia.com
Emovieposter: http://siteanalytics.compete.com/emovieposter.com

Or, you can use Overstock with over 400 thousand visitors a month.

All kinds of options for serious sellers. Don't stop with the first Probid site you see... you can do better.
