There were 3 sales totalling $3.09 yesterday.  No wonder MoIncompetent said "I dont' post STR by Cat" ....a page full of of 0%'s probably wouldn't lure many sellers to Mo's parking lot for dollar store items.

Would eBay's Don Hoe or Amazon's Bozo make a moronic comment like that? NO!
Does any real online or offline retail executive not worry or care if their business shows a significant year over year sales decline? HELL NO!

Good news! Alsoshop's sitewide total sales today were exactly enough to buy one can of Raid flying insect spray (the branded version of troll spray)!

Now for the bad news.  The $1.88 which the average ASs store owner grossed during the past 7 days (27 cents daily) won't even buy a place to sleep in a van cardboard box down by the river.

How successful is ecrater really? They have a lot of items, but no one is posting any sales stats about them.  Nor BZ!

Well, I have at least a few dozen monthly sales on "BZ", using very little effort and less than an hour a week. All it took was uploading my website "Googleplex" Feeds into Bonanzle. If I put any effort at all into it I could easily have 10x that many. aSs? Well, lets just say my currently low (by my standard) monthly Bonanzle sales  would be a good week for the whole aSs site right now.

By that definition Mojavelyn's Alsoshop venture is a roaring success.  It has allowed her to achieve the coveted social status level of "Site Owner" on PSU.  Her fellow posters, who otherwise would have ignored the incoherent ramblings of an unemployed mediocre hobby seller, now look up to her and seek out her wisdom on marketing and the all-important googleplex because she is...a Site Owner.

The problem may also be that many of Alsoshop's items, specifically many of the used books which account for over 25% of the site's listings, are overpriced in comparison to the competition.

Devoting 4 main home page top level categories (Avon, Tupperware, Watkins, Rada Cutlery) to products that are widely available nationwide in the US from an army of tens of thousands of stay at home party resellers also hurts STR.

A buyer unfriendly script, difficult checkout process, and the site's failure to understand how to properly address the issue of buyer trust  also contribute to the low STR on the site. PayPal verification of sellers provides an income stream for site owners but does little, if anything, to increase buyer trust.

If you don't like the numbers your site is showing, Don't shoot the messenger. Email your site's marketing or support, and complain to them to get off their duff and do some work.

And yes, I have the tool bar, and my homepage is bid-alot, and when I turn one my computer, I open about 3 browser pages and keep one on B-A at all times so I can flip back and forth. Even when I'm not working, I'm working.

I don't even keep a history for more then 24 hrs. delete cookies and temp files regularily.

well that pretty much clears  this up...

when she came in my thread when i was giving out  what  independent rating sites are saying about diff sites... and saying  the word CERTAIN  she knew for CERTAIN they do not say that she even said compete  for certain did not and quantcast..

compete shows a 55% drop  over 1 yr.. quantcast pretty much agrees with current  reading at 330 and max reading 660 something.. but then when i looked at alexa i see  a  total opposite..

now bringing up her talk about how she works one of those 3.. the one she says she works is alexa  the very one that disagrees with the other 2... i have seen they all 3  pretty much agree generally some diff  but NEVER a  drastic diff  like this is with moos  site.

so what all this means about psuu itself is very bad news...
 i see stockmiser there psoting alot  and only in ebay stuff and never in these places  with the  up to no good stuff  .....  but this all shows  this is all up to no good  stuff by psuu themselves to allow this and to work against anyone that  shows the truth on these  tricksters like moo..

if stockmiser knows   this like he may.. why in the world would he stay there helping psuu  harm sellers like this  helping by bringing activity and money for the site??

And the best way to do that is to just leave ebay. The upper management isn't going to listen to anyone until the stockholders start grumbling. Their dividends is based on the profits. if enough sellers can and will leave, the bottom line is effected.
