Re: Where are Marty's pompoms?
Quote:I know a few people in SRG. Some of them DO think for themselves. They may not hate eBay with every bone in their body, but they also are 100% cheerleading material either. Anita, you are absolutely right. Not all of them are cheerleaders. Unfortunately, some of those who ARE cheerleaders can be so obnoxious about it that it's easy to forget that they aren't all that way. And one has to wonder how much discussion is stifled by that "must be positive at all costs" attitude. |

I have to be reminded myself not to stuff everyone into one category at times. |

Re: Where are Marty's pompoms?
Anita, you also know that the srg members we complain most about are really not just cheerleaders but nasty people who throw lots of mud at anyone who doesn"t agree.
Ps// First time I've heard either you or Cranky say anything resembling nice about the srg or anyone in it. I think I am going back to bed. Maybe when I get up, things will look better. :o |

Agreed with Anita. Again.
And not all mud-slingers are SRG members, either......... |

Re: Where are Marty's pompoms?
There are a few people there that I don't care for and they probably don't care for me. They have a strong enough presence at SRG that it is probably best that I don't join and they are probably glad that I don't.
That doesn't mean I have to dislike EVERYONE because they belong to a certain group. That would be silly. If I had to dislike a group because I'm told to, then that would make ME a sheep. No? |

[/quote] No one told you to dislike them. But, I have never heard you stick up for them. Particularly since their fearless leader (and probably others) comes over here mostly to see what we are saying about them and make asphole remarks. I don't dislike them as a group. I do dislike the GROUP's habit of calling those who disagree with them "negative". And that seems to be a GROUP charactericstic. I guess they probably speak well of us here at TT. RIght. |

Re: Where are Marty's pompoms?
Bell, I certainly don't come over here to spy on you...I actually get useful information at TT. Some of the members here were instrumental in getting me to think about having another venue. Many of the SRG members are just people like you and me...trying to build a business in spite of ebay.
