What is a "typical merchant"? Conversion rates vary by category and  they also vary by marketing method (see CoreMetric's LiveMark for conversion rates by marketing method)

Designing different content and landing pages for the 4 personality types identified by the article is an interesting idea (although I disagree with there only being 4 personality types--the writer left out type #5: assholes Smile )
