Those weird Fr_k people just blamed us. :blinkie:
It looks like an FAS member just paid the $9 (?) renewal fee and so the registrar reactivated the name.

What is FAS?

It will take 12-24 hours for the change back to the kirtok nameservers (from the registrars parked nameservers where it was pointed for nonpayment) to propogate through the Internet, so until then you can reach it at:
http://207.58.160.155/
...by tomorrow you should be able to reach it by the domain name again.

Maybe Matt (or someone else) didn't renew the name. The whois at NameCheap is showing an expiration of 8/6/2006 but eNom is still showing 8/6/2005. The name servers are still on the parked domain. The registrar could just be trying to take advantage of FAS's traffic and planning on keeping the name for itself for the next year

Quote:in general, I'm really bugged by the amount of information, effort, and energy that is so casually disappearing these days
So you agree that it would be a shame to see DRM's posts erased after all the effort she put into them? :twistedevil:

She?
Hmmmmm.
Bargain has some info he's not sharing???
I found DRM to be a funny little bit of comic relief.
