Heaven forbid you get kicked off PSU, then how could one peddle $2 gently soiled worn kids clothing and $2 lead filled junk vintage toys and 25 cent well worn slightly used paperback books from the 7 signature links to their stores on the PSU spamming advertising rinky dink alternative sites.
Getting kicked off eBay and missing out on your share of billions in annual sales harassment and grief from eBay is nowhere near that bad.  Happy001
Lizard must not have much of a life...
Smileyyellowbang awwww, gee. I missed the spam and petty b.s. because I spent most of the weekend of July 4th doing stupid things like hanging out at the beach, catching a couple of parades, sucking the meat offa' pigs ribs and watchin' fireworks. I should prolly feel guilty for not spending my time more constructively.  Smileyyellowbang

How paf@ckinthetic it must be to be afraid of being banned from a forum... Thefinger

Ummm Sneaky, while you were wasting your time yesterday worrying your blue head about virtual non-issues like PSU yellow cards and bannings some of us were spending the day worrying about really really really important real world issues like...

...will they finish repairing the boardwalk before summer???

...why is there a French flag flying outside the men's room???

...why is every other bench on the boardwalk backless???

...why do I live in a city with 8 million wussies who are afraid to go to the beach in March???

DRM/Rancher has had 4 of his posts deleted (and the Blujay thread was locked).

Alsoshop's MoRon win's the prize for clueless rinky dink owner of the year with this comment in that Blujay thread:

DRM Wrote:with amazon and ebay in competition and now google too.. very very very few sites now can come in and make a foothold and be successful....
MoRon Wrote:Has google announced it will open an auction site?

If a site owner is too stupid to see how Google can compete with eBay and Amazon in the ecommerce space without opening a traditional venue... (hint: successful sellers use eBay and other venues as marketing tools for their business)
DRM Wrote:the future is very dim for the small sites and for alsoshop

I agree with the barmy loony bin escapee :blinkie:  that the future is very dim for out of the box sites run by boinktards who lack any real business background.  I think the recent emergence of several strong alternatives to eBay, and the increasing importance of the new virtual venue "search" will make it increasingly difficult for Alsoshop type sites (i.e. one-person PHP Pro Bid sites run from basements) to attract sellers in any meaningful numbers.
