Hi, this is Leigh Goldstein again from eBay’s Shipping team. With the holidays right around the corner, we want to help your buyers make sure they shop eBay first when they need those last-minute gifts. To do this, we’re introducing a new “Get It Fast” feature.

In the next week or so, buyers located in the United States will able to search for Buy It Now items from domestic sellers who have stated that they will both ship within one business day after receiving payment, and who offer an overnight shipping service with their listings. Simply click on the Advanced Search link near any search box to be able to search for Get It Fast items, or use the “Customize” link on the left-hand side of your search results page to add the Get It Fast filter to your search options.

For Sellers
Now you can market your items that you can ship fast to the buyers who need them fast. To make sure your items appear in Get It Fast searches, set the new “domestic handling time” field to one day. (This means that you commit to shipping the item within one business day after you receive a cleared payment.) You’ll also need to select an overnight shipping method (although the buyer can still choose any other shipping method you offer), and check the “Get It Fast” checkbox in the Sell Your Item form, or within Turbo Lister.

Item Page Changes
Buyers will also see an “As soon as” delivery date at the top of Get It Fast listings. This date is calculated by taking the current date, adding one business day for your domestic handling time, and then adding the number of business days your fastest expedited shipping service takes.

We’ll also add details about approximate transit times for different shipping methods. For example, if the item offers U.S. Postal Service® Priority Mail®, we’ll add a note near that option at the bottom of the page that says the estimated transit time for that method will be 2-3 business days.

We’ve set up a ]discussion thread on the Packaging & Shipping discussion board with more details, a set of FAQs, and screenshots of what the item page changes will look like. We invite you to leave your feedback, and we wish you a successful buying and selling holiday season!
What else can we possibly say about stupid frickin' eBay that hasn't already been said??!

I don't see what the problem is...so they added a few enhancements to the search and item pages right in the middle of the holiday selling season...so what, its not like search and item pages are important.  At least they didn't make changes to the important stuff like the 'pay your monthly eBay invoice' page.  :twistedevil:
