Looks like all hell is breaking loose over this

I haven't something like this since the last fee increase.

That has got to be the stupidest most boinktard thing eBay has done yet (and they've done some doozies).  Can you imagine, an estimated delivery time put in your auctions and some buyers are going to hold the seller's responsible for that?

Right now the post office on their site gives estimated times of delivery but when you complain to them about the package not being deliver still a number of days after what the post office said it would be - the post office says, "that's just an estimate".  Well eBay putting that "estimate" in there is going to have some buyers expecting their items to be delivered for sure in that time frame and I see a lot of negatives being handed out to sellers for the post office not delivering on time.

Zeesh!!!!!

I'm so GLAD I have a website.
Where I control the terms and content.

I don't think I'll be there when they increase the fees again in the next month or so
other than to maybe run some .99 cent BS items and high shipping.
Or maybe I'll offer an "e plan" on how to built some of my items so newbies
can sell them on ebay for a loss.

eBay EVERY TIME ANYONE OF YOUR PEOPLE HAVE TOUCHED ANYTHING ON THE SITE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS IT HAS BEEN SLOWLY KILLING THE SITE. Thefinger

But I don't care anymore because they don't either.

Like I said: I'm so GLAD I have a website.  Laughing7

Any business that allows their policies to be decided by an outsider is doomed (sorry eBay sellers but its true).

The timing of this latest enhancement alone is enough to rank it in at least the top 10.    :Smile

That sucks.  I use Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service so the Transit Time is left blank.

I can see buyers 3 days after EOA asking where's my item, completely forgeting that sellers sometimes take 2-3 days to ship.

Ebay is taking control away from the sellers and its the SELLERS business not ebays.  What happened to "We are just a venue" ?

LOL at those threads.

Did you notice they had to put a few "Buzz Marketers" (lieworld mods) in as well?  :blinkie:

As we all should know by now this is NOT the first time feebay has
done totally stupid things.
One must wonder if they do this stuff to test the water sort of speak, and see who will keep putting up with IT.

Just a precursor for them to know how much they can get
away with when they JACK the fees again soon ImO. Bs

eBay has BEEN taking control away from the sellers for a long time.

If anyone sells on ebay exclusively you are in FACT working for them anymore.
Sorry "just" feebay sellers, but you know it's true. :Smile

eBay shouldn't play Post Office.
