Valued Members,

We would like to take this opportunity to update you on recent developments at Bidville.

Froogle
We are now sending item information to Froogle twice per week. There are currently over 1 million Bidville items posted there. To qualify, the item must have a Take It Price. Or, it must be in a Store. We are sending all Take It and Store items. There are no other restrictions. After you post a new item, it should show up in Froogle in approximately 3-5 days.

Google Base
We are also working on a feed to the new Google Base. They placed a limit of 100,000 items per member which means that we will have to limit what gets sent there. We have decided to begin with Store items only and expect to have this working in the next week or two.

SAFE Program
The SAFE program is working very well. Each seller can decide who he/she feels safe selling to by setting preferences. And, if someone is blocked, they may request your approval with the click of a button. This gives you the opportunity to look at their feedback, About Me, etc. In addition to the rules you each set, Bidville has imposed a few bidding rules that apply to everyone. First, bidders may only bid on 5 different items in a 14 day period. If the bidder has at least a +2 rating or they have a credit card on file with Bidville, the restriction is lifted. Second, to bid on an item over $20, the bidder must have a +10 rating or have a credit card on file. Once again, anyone that is blocked by your settings OR the Bidville settings, can request your approval to bid. If you approve them, they will not be blocked by our settings.

Take It Price Items with Multiple Quantities
This option is now available. It works slightly differently than you may be used to. Here`s an example of how:
You list a fixed price item with a quantity of 10.
You sell 2 of them to one buyer.
The current item number ends immediately upon the sale.
An identical item is immediately listed for you. This item gets a new item number and has an updated quantity of 8 instead of 10. It is identical to the original item in every other way.
If a member views the original item that is sold, they see a link pointing them to the unsold identical item. It reads "This item ended with a Take It. An identical item was relisted. Click Here to view."

This may take some getting used to but I`m sure we can all do it.

Thanks for continuing to grow with us.
