Quote:Google Base went live in mid-November, right at the beginning of the Holiday shopping season. Even with the poor timing, the reaction to it was incredible among the PowerSeller community....

full article: http://auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m12/i06/s01

Interviewed in this article are PESA member Adam Hersh of Adam Hersh Auctions (see topics: eBay Top 25 Negative Feedback http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...219.0.html and Why Is He Still On eBay? http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...395.0.html )

and PESA member Andy Mowery of DebNRoo (the kitty box litter seller and Ethical tool user in the"Ethical Tool" topics on this board.  Mowery who is also an eBay Voices member was  a staunch supporter  of the right of PeSA members to use the tool and showed little concern for the harm its use was doing to the average small seller in posts he made on the eBay Stores board and OTWA in August...his only concern was the harm that would be done to the under 200 (PeSA) users of the tool if the tool had been banned)

Auctionbytes, whose editor is also a PeSA member, apparently did not feel it was necessary to interview any bronze or silver level Power Sellers ("the little guys", the 2 levels which account for the majority of Power Sellers) when they did this article on "Power Sellers'" reactions to Google Base.

Commentary like the above quote is one of the reasons why I post links to news artcles in the morning and he doesn't  Happy001

No wonder Auctionbytes ban me from posting after a month or so of TRUTHFUL posts about ebay and PayPal and me debating a few LieWorld plants that play those boards too.

(some of the highest hits of viewers they ever saw BTW me thinks)...

Auctionbytes editor is also a PeSA member. hmmmmmmmmmmm

Who would of thunk IT??? [Image: scratchhead.gif]
