There was an article several years ago/last year regarding IM's being the *new* method to infect PC's with trojans, viruses, spyware, etc.  When I read that, I just went into my firewall settings and blocked ALL incoming IM's.  NONE are allowed to get into my computer from anywhere!  Have never used, and plan on never using, any kind of IM service.  Don't need it.

Took care of that threat instantly.............
