Quote:Two police officers have been charged with stealing an antique sword from the belongings of late police Chief William Sudbury and attempting to sell it on the Internet.

Sgt. Douglas Simpson, 49, and Officer Jeffery Huckaby, 39, each have been charged with one count of felony theft.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Simpson took the sword from Sudbury's locker at the Munster police station.
He then gave it to Huckaby, who advertised the sword on Internet auction site eBay.
