Please take the time to double-check your MarketWorks invoice for December. Quite a few people  are reporting double-billing. Log onto the 'official' MW board for further details.

A MarketWorks announcement says the company is aware of the issue:

Quote:During the process of running billing, some accounts received 2 separate invoices from Marketworks- one for their MW fees (which is the correct charge), and the other for the minimum monthly plan they are on (which is incorrect, as this charge is included in the MW fees bill).

We processed the refunds yesterday before noon for the incorrect charge, but it normally takes approximately 24 hours for credit card companies to settle those refunds.


For our users that have Debit Cards or PayPal selected as their payment methods, those financial institutions typically "hold" the funds/refunds for a longer period of time before releasing them back to the account. Unfortunately we don’t have control over that time frame. For the customers that this applies to, you may want to contact your Financial Institution to see if they can settle the refund in a more timely manner.
