Quote:Criminals are again targeting eBay members, this time by sending forged auction inquiries from what appears to be the site's 'Question from eBay Member' message portal, according to security experts SpamStopsHere.

Account holders are prompted to respond to the inquiry by clicking the 'Respond Now' button in the email, and are then directed to a fraudulent eBay log-in screen.

That's going around again?  I never click those links in those that might (or might not be) from eBay.  I always make it habit to go to eBay through my own bookmark and log into my eBay and check and reply to the message from there.  Just habit as I never click any links in any emails I receive, even when I know it's legit.

But obviously there must be people clicking those links and giving their account ids and passwords away otherwise we wouldn't still be seeing so many of these phishing emails.
