Hello...Im Robert Tomkinson with eBay Motors. In the next few days well be making several enhancements to the Best Offer feature for Fixed Price listings on eBay Motors. These changes will make it an even more flexible tool for you to use when you are buying or selling.
First, the Best Offer feature lets sellers accept price-based offers from buyers just like in the off-line world. Its been popular feature since its introduction early last year, but weve also received a lot of suggestions on how we can make it even more useful.
Now Im pleased to let you know that well be introducing the following Best Offer enhancements on eBay Motors:
Counter-Offer - This new option will let sellers respond directly to a Best Offer either by accepting the offer, or by making a counter-offer. The buyer can then accept the counter-offer, which will close the listing, or respond back with a new offer price.
Improved Offer Management - Were making it easier for sellers to track new offers, make counter-offers, and manage all offer activity on their Fixed Price listings.
Best Offer Button on Item Pages - Were making Best Offer a clearer option for buyers by changing it from a link on the item page to a more noticeable button.
