eBay is screwing up badly when it sends its people to post on its boards.  Last week they used the user ID of someone who died 5 years ago, and this week they manufacture a 0 FB posting ID that has been a member since 1980  Laughing7

This week:

And some think I'm wearing a tin foil hat. :blinkie:

This is what they do best. Spin spin spin lie lie lie.
Cover up spin lie cover up some more spin lie.

My little buddy 5731jake is clinic yet she lives in two different
states according to the registration. RIGHT.

So it is.  Same PO Box.  Sad.
Moe doesn't prefer PayPal!

"I accept Paypal but would appreciate payment via check or money order (trying to save on fees!). I ship the day after receiving payment, five days a week."

Yep, dailygrinds/moetime2001/moetime was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year.  I'm assuming she really got screwed on royalties by either the record company or other members of the Velvet Underground...or she spent the money on other things. I don't think she's a "plant", I think she's just bitter that her solo career forced her to get a day job as an ebay store owner and so she takes it out on others when she posts anonymously.  The 'member since 1980' is probably just another eBay glitch.
regarding the 1980 date, in computers, that's the first year that computer clocks know about.  When a computer is totally powered down and the battery on the motherboard is dead, and then powered back up, it defaults to 1980 for the year.  Jan 1, 1980 to be specific.  (least with older computers).   So, this "default" first year might have something to do with the member's date.  could even be a y2k bug that happened.

all that being said, there's still more odd stuff going on with that member.  Just read the various posts by him/her.

For example, in this thread http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...1000221237&tstart=0&mod=1139761822571 s/he says that s/he only accepts International Money Orders from Canada and Mexico.  According to the USPS IMM, Mexico doesnt print IMOs that can be cashed here!

And, since s/he has supposedly sold to mexico, i couldnt help but ask if s/he uses USPS insurance for those parcels to mexico (without mentioning the fact that USPS wont insure packages to mexico  Wink )
