Dear Amazon.ca Sellers,

In the coming weeks, the A-to-z Guarantee team will be launching new changes to help you manage and respond to claims easily.  These same changes were launched for Amazon.com sellers in 2005.  The Amazon.com announcement about these changes was posted to the Seller Success board on August 22, 2005, and is available for your review here:

As you can see in our previous announcement, these changes will allow sellers to manage A-to-z Guarantee claims from their seller accounts.  You will also be able to see better updates to current status of your claims within your account.

The high level changes are outlined below:
• Better notification of pending claims requiring your attention. You will have notifications in the Seller Your Account page, indicating the number of pending claims that you need to respond to.
• An easy to use structured form for sellers to represent their claims will speed up resolution times.
• Easy and clear messaging to see the current status of your representations and details on each claim.

We will continue to send the automated email when you receive an A-to-z Guarantee claim; however, we will be directing you to this new A-to-z Guarantee claim form over time. Instructions on using the form will be available in the Amazon.ca Help pages and in the confirmation e-mails regarding A-to-z Guarantee claims.

When these changes launch, an “A-to-z Guarantee claims” link will be provided in the Seller Account for quick access to claims.  If you have claims that require your attention, you will be able to click on the same link at the top of the page in an “Important Message” box. On the A-to-z Guarantee claims page, you’ll be able to refund the buyer or represent your claim.  The outcome of claims will also be reflected on this page.

We believe that these improvements will benefit you and make it easy for you to manage claims and keep up to date regarding their status.
