Yesterday Yahoo! announced the Yahoo! Shopping Paid Syndication Program beta. The program is similar to Amazon's affiliate program and allows site owners to earn revenue from displaying Yahoo! shopping content on their sites.

The following APIs are available for use:
Product Search

Catalog Listing
Allows you to display a comparison grid with product offerings and prices from several merchants. Returns tax, shipping, and total price if zip code is provided.
Catalog Specs
Allows you to get key specifications for a given product to enhance display of the price comparison grid.
Merchant Search
Allows you to retrieve and display ratings for merchants offering a given product.
User Product Review
Allows you to display user ratings and reviews, including usefulness of reviews, for a product.

The Yahoo! Shopping Paid Syndication Program enables websites to integrate with Yahoo! Shopping and share in the revenue generated when qualified traffic is sent to our advertising partners. Commercial use of the Yahoo! Shopping APIs is currently available in a beta offering, and we are actively soliciting partners that have built sites that offer compelling or innovative shopping experiences. If you have an interest in participating in the Yahoo! Shopping Paid Syndication Program, please fill out the form below and let us know how you plan to utilize our APIs in your site or application. A limited number of applicants will be accepted during this beta phase, and preference will be given to sites with high traffic volume and fresh, unique content.
