Green Events is looking for a sponsor to prolong the eccentric Welsh tradition of bog snorkelling!

Yes, you did read that right, bog snorkelling or snorkelling in a bog, is a unique, fast growing in popularity, globally recognised sport, held every year in a carefully nurtured bog in Llanwrtyd Wells, mid-Wales. It is a day of fun, laughter, mud and true sportsmanship. For companies or individuals wishing to attach their name and product to a quirky, innovative and fast-growing event the World Bog Snorkelling Championship is unbeatable.

Bog snorkelling has put Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Britain, on the map and in the Guinness Book of Records, so imagine what it can do for you!

In 2005, over 150 crazy competitors donned a pair of flippers, mask and snorkel whilst attempting to doggy paddle the 60ft bog.

This is a bogtastic opportunity for your company to reach an international audience. In the past, the event has been covered by, amongst others, Sky, The Independent, The Guardian, Loaded Magazine, Radio 5 Live, S4C and Channel 4 TV as well as national television in Australia, Germany, Russia, China, Ireland and Belgium.

And, as of yesterday, this also includes the rights to sponsor the World Bog Snorkelling Championships.
