BidChaser advertising email.  Yawn.

Quote:Dear Bidchaser GEARup Member,

Spring is time for revival! It is also time for sales to pick up! I ask that you accept this invitation to participate in Bidchaser's Spring Event
and help us promote your products.

ABOUT THE SPRING PROMOTION

Please check the first creative:

http://qshopnow.com

Spring is time for rejuvenation, for renewal, for rebirth. It is the perfect time for the awakening of the Bidchaser Marketplace. A lot of
technical and promotional care is going into planning this event for our merchants. We are looking forward to your help and
participation to make Bidchaser's Spring event a success!

The Spring Event's theme is "Spring - Time For Health & Fun Fitness & Beauty." We will release landing pages on the
Bidchaser-owned domain of http://qShopNow.com (qShopNow.com). As visitors are directed to these landing pages, the page will
display featured promotional items, rotate an interstitial ad (pop-under) of a merchant's feature product at landing, and direct the visitor
inward, to the Spring Promotional sections within the Bidchaser Gift Shoppe.

We are also very excited to have the support of uBid.com during this promotional period. We have been allowed to use items in their
inventory to boost the quality and quantity of our inventory during this promotional period. This will work to your advantage - the same
way an "anchor store" works in a shopping mall. We are working hard to make sure the inventory we bring from a partner like uBid.com
enhances and draws traffic to the site and does not compete directly with our merchants who carry unique, handcrafted, collectible or
smaller stocks.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

Our experience has shown that to make any marketing campaign effective, it must be sustained and repeated. We have to get the
message across. Bidchaser's Spring Event is really a collection of short campaigns, each running the first three weeks of each month,
for four months!

We have made a commitment to provide continuous marketing for our merchants, with a goal of becoming a dominant ecommerce
marketplace before this year's holiday season. We will gage our success by your success, and will not be satisfied until we have
reached an "STR" (sell-through-ratio) that is comparable to - or higher - than the major competing ecommerce players.

HOW WILL YOU BENEFIT?

We are offering all of our members a fun and exciting opportunity to boost their sales through the Spring season. In addition to the
increased sales opportunity that comes from our efforts to bring traffic to the site, all of the event's inventory will be pushed to a number
of comparison shopping sites. Our team is currently looking at feeding your inventory to Froogle, Shopping.com, pricegrabber.com,
Yahoo!shopping, Bidfind, Nextag and a number of other shopping comparison engines. Bidchaser is also purchasing advertisement
in a number of strategic, high-traffic sites.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

We have changed the way promotions work on Bidchaser by taking a lot of the hard work out of the equation. In the past, you were
required to change your item's title or description, one by one, to participate in a promotion.

We make it much easier for you now. We are adding a special feature, the "Promotion Picker" in the My Bidchaser control panel where
you can select any of your items and move them to our current promotion. No fuss, no mess, no hard work on your part. After the
promotion is finished, we automatically "clean" the inventory out, so you don't have to waste time editing items after the promotional
event.

SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES CATALOG

Though our promotions will benefit all our sellers, and the participation is free for all the Gear Up members, you can gain more benefits
by buying the ad spot for the item you want to promote.

Due to time constraints, we will select the items that will be featured during our first two weeks of our campaign. After that, we will offer
our merchants an opportunity to bid for placement of their products on both our promotional mail outs as well as a campaign's splash
page(s). Details of this program will be provided to you in our next seller's update. We'll keep you updated on a regular basis about
our progress on both our marketing and technical fronts.

WHEN WILL ALL THIS START?

We plan to launch our marketing campaign on Thursday, April 13; Open the http://qshopnow.com landing page on Wednesday, April
12, and release the special "Promotion Picker" feature on Tuesday, April 11.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NEXT?

Please remember that this promotion is open to store items only. Review your inventory, making sure that your descriptions, prices and
your "about us" and store policies are correct and updated. Start picking the inventory that you'd like to have included in the promotion.
This inventory will be displayed in the promotional "splash pages", as well as especially prepared pages of the Bidchaser Gift
Shoppe. Our advertising campaigns will direct traffic to this pages directly, greatly increasing the exposure

Sincerely,

Tejal Shah

Double yawn. Apparently the site still has issues, yet they are considering advertising again?!?
Relist till sold seems to be fixed--finally, but there are still other problems.

They're doing another TV commercial? "It's not about the O"

Ha, ha, ha! Boy that's original. Creative minds at work. Though the ad may appeal to people from India.  Big Grin

Who in TV Land even knows the O exists?  :Smile

Buyers who see the commercial probably don't know Overstock has auctions, and the sellers BidChaser is trying to attract already left Overstock...sooo why even mention "the O" in your commercial?

...and even if someone who sees the "O" commercial decides to visit BidChaser's auctions they probably won't stay long because there's nothing there: Auctions ItemsSad1086) ....and I just visited 2 stores and none of the navigation buttons in the stores work with my browser so the item detail pages of the 78,000 store items are hidden from many potential buyers.
