You're going to be in realllly reallllllllllly big trouble if Bill Gates ever runs for President and the Secret Service starts rounding up Windows haters.
That article forgot to mention that one of the reasons IE was able to gain converts was because Netscape put out one version of its browser (was it NS 6?) that was a complete mess (codewise) and almost unusable. I do agree with the article that the (online) world would probably have been better off if IE hadn't been invented.
