Another of eBay's top sellers closes shop--joining a long list of sellers who have gone under this year...feedback of 74,504 and 99.9% positive.

Many recent negatives of buyers who paid and are complaining they didn't receive their items

The seller's About Me page and all contact info are gone from their eBay Store,

Both of their web site are still running but don't appear to have any products.  They do have contact info though if you need to contact them about a putchase.

was Parrothead a PeSA member?
Yes--forgot to put it in the title.
Very good sellers.  Perhaps it's an immediate family illness or death, which has happened to a number of well-known and respected sellers/boardies...

No because they weren't a 1-person home-based operation.

My guess is bankruptcy caused by an inability to pass rising expenses/shipping costs on to their customers.
Strange that their store is still open.

It must be a PeSA perk.  ;D because when the others went bankrupt their stores stayed open for weeks/months after they closed/disappeared too.  The most recent PeSA casualty www.wegotthebeat.com's store is still open, and Sell2All filed chapter 7 in February but their store remained open until last week.

I've often [Image: scratchhead.gif] at some of the power sellers BIG time ebayers
who seemed to be practically giving their products away.

It's as if they think FREE is a business model.

Well look at them now.

Hey isn't there a BIG online auction company using that strategy in the Far East?

Dimucci(?) pointed out yesterday that eBay's biggest everydaysource was running over 9100 items with BIN's between $0.01 and $0.02.  :blinkie:
I just looked. First four pages all BINS most .99 cents all
ending in less than an hour, some just seconds.

Yep soon we will see another one bite the dust me thinks.

Side note: One of the PP cheerleaders has "connections" with this ID.
My notes show some very interesting cross references.  :blinkie:
