Quote:Create ads for your items

If you're familiar with Google AdWords, you'll be happy to know that we're now enabling you to create AdWords ads for individually posted items in Google Base, right from the Google Base edit item page.

Submitting an ad through Google Base is a quick and easy way to drive
additional highly targeted traffic to your Base items. You simply write the ad creative and tell us how much you're willing to spend and we'll do the rest. We'll automatically use the content from your Google Base item to target your ad to user queries, displaying your ads only when they are relevant. We'll even geo-target your ads to the most appropriate location. If you already have an AdWords account that uses the same Google Account login, we'll automatically include your Google Base ad in your AdWords account. If you're new to AdWords, we'll lead you through a few easy steps to set up an account.

Quote:How do I create an AdWords ad for my Google Base item?

To create an ad for your Google Base item:

1) Log in to Google Base at http://base.google.com/base/welcome.
2) On the 'Active items' page, click 'edit' beside the item you'd like to change.
3) Click on the 'edit' link next to the 'Advertise this item on Google' title.
4) Create an ad, specify your maximum cost-per-click, and check the 'Run This Ad' box.
5) Once you've made your edits, click the 'Publish' button.
6) Follow the steps to create a new AdWords account or to link your ad to an existing AdWords account.
7) Log back in to your Base account after 24 hours to make sure your ad is running and getting the clicks you expected.
8 ) Make any edits you like, and sit back and enjoy the additional traffic that we'll drive to your Google Base item.

At this time, you can only create an AdWords ad for each of your single items--this functionality is not supported through bulk upload files.

AdWords ads allow you to drive additional highly-targeting traffic to your Base items. Ads created in Google Base will be displayed on Google search results pages and our partner sites. We'll use the content from your Google Base item to target your ad to user's queries, displaying your ads only when it is relevant.
