xxxxxxxxxxx,
Decreased participation has severely limited what we can integrate and when.
Many of those Q1 integrations are simply awaiting funding for coding and testing and implementation.
The same factors that limit what sellers can provide buyers in terms of product and experience affect us the very same way. It's not about not wanting to do them, it's about being able to do them

Our worst performing store is averaging 250 daily page views (the store opened last month, no advertising). Â Our busiest store averages 6,000 daily page views.

Once again...blaming the sellers. Â Disgusting!!
I would love to ask about the $75k advertising plan.... but for now I am just happy to bring you the latest garbage. Besides when I get canned, it will be because of an essay, not a one-line jab !

My thoughts exactly. With a bunch of blah blah blah in between
karay Wrote:"A Store seller with 1000 active listings at $9.99 with a $14.99 BIN and Thumbnail Gallery Image weekly (and including the monthly Store subscription) with main site exposure would have the following insertion fees charged"
eBay = $3,415.95
Wagglepop = $9.95
KaRay left out Amazon: $39.95 monthly for unlimited Marketplace listings with "main site exposure" (and up to 40,000 Auction listings)--no need to find buyers because they're already there.

How many would you have if you hadn't been a boinktard and closed WP1 after one week?

Karen is right, and reminded me of what else I forgot to mention, and I WAS thinking about it when I read it here. WP being free? THAT would be a mistake, and I agree with Karen. If they do that, the customer service would go down the tubes, like another site which shall remain unnamed at the moment. Sure there are problems, and coding changes to be made, but in order to get it to work, we all have to let them know when something doesn't . I COULD email all past buyers/sellers and let them know about WP but I'm sure if I should because it's spam. How many of us hate getting unwelcomed emails all the time, and go into our junk folder and just hit delete because we don't know them or don't have time or weren't expecting an email from them?
As I said I am sticking around, sure I may get moody at times, or disappointed, but you know what, NOONE else can change us but US. So anyone that doesn't put forth their effort into making this place UNfeebay like can't make a difference if they don't try.
There has to be a way to improve on getting the traffic here. Let's figure out a solution together. I may not be a founding member, but as an individual, I think I have done my part in wanting it to be successful just by putting so much time and creation into my store. I do EVERYTHING by hand, I don't use an uploading program to list hundreds of auctions at a time. Partially becaus I haven't figured that machine out yet, lol. But my items require expertise in descriptions and looking values up in collector books for the most part, and that alone is time consuming.
I hope We the People do survive here, and bring more people around from other sites and show them that feebay isn't the only successful auction site that can give buyers and sellers the opportunity to find things and buy things for better prices and from nicer sellers like we have here.
Ask yourself this, how many carbon copy emails that have answers that don't have anything to do with your questions or problems have any of you received from the feebay staff at one time or another, and then think of the responses you get from Karen and the staff here!
BIG DIFFERENCE in my book!
I am proud to be member here, new or otherwise, and I would like to see us all continue to not JUST survive here, but thrive!
Ok my time on the soapbox is over!
