Karen's next post may sound something like this:
We are working on inproving our site by a Methodology for the Typical Unification of Access Points and Redundancy, the model for our heuristic consists of four independent components: simulated annealing, active networks, flexible modalities, and the study of reinforcement learning, and, We implemented our scatter/gather I/O server in Simula-67, augmented with opportunistically pipelined extensions.
However the FUNDING just isnt there.
It would be really great to have this option to our sellers if ONLY WE HAD THE MONEY.....
Keep em comin Karen, I cant wait for the next post.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Had my quota of cheerleading today... so I had to chime in.

Sorry, but I have to disagree.
A mall or shopping center has one thing; LOCATION. Location equals traffic in front of your store. They get them into the parking lot. Whether or not your widgets are appealing to the masses is not their concern. So while they do not actually advertise your particular store, they do advertise the shopping center (or mall), and the population knows it's there.
Just my $.02

xxxxxxxx,
And that is the wonderful thing about Wagglepop
We have that location. It's known to everyone as The Web, and in the history of business and retail there has never ever been a greater equalizer or more available opportunity.
It's one of the reasons we can succeed.
The Web is "open source" and "equal opportunity" in it's purest form, and it allows anyone, anywhere to participate independently or with a venue such as Wagglepop or eBay or "Uncle Charlie's Chicken & Auctions" to compete on equal footing.
What success comes from that is purely business and market driven, and our marketplace here on Wagglepop is seller and buyer driven in totality.
What we can or cannot do as a company and community in pursuing our portion of that Web traffic and business is determined soley by the levels of participation we receive which creates a marketplace of value and supports that marketplace with revenues for operations.
Every company online of off has that same dynamic.
There are no quick fixes or shortcuts for anyone competing across the Web to use except for those which are available, which for us, is seller population with items and products.
Without that, there's nothing to buy or revenue with which to promote

Translation: In analogy to the broadcasting business: "The airwaves are available to everybody. Too bad nobody can receive us because we don't have enough money to purchase transmitters powerful enough to extend our signal beyond Ray's house. The reason we don't have enough money is because advertisers don't want to invest where there is no listenership."
