Now, here's a novel way to get traffic:
Here's a post from a cheerleading Popper with Montana and Nikki in the store name.
Quote:My sitemeter stats are always showing people searching for Nikki Montana. It's almost always people from other countries, and it seems to go in spurts. I guess when I come up in their search results, even though my description doesn't have anything to do with what they are looking for, they get curious and click on my link anyway. The other day, one of these people even looked at a couple of pages besides my home page. =)
bolding mine.
For those who aren't familiar with Nikki Montana, her lengthy list of film credits include:
1. Innocent Until Proven Filthy (2006) (V)
2. Anything Goes (2005) (V)
3. Ass Crackin' 6 (2005) (V)
4. Cum Swapping & Lollipops (2005) (V)
5. Double the Fun: 2 on 1 (2005) (V)
6. European Mail Order Brides 5 (2005) (V)
7. Euro Sluts 2: Manoscritto (2005) (2005) (V)

So all I gotta do is fit a porn star's name into my store/site name and wait patiently?
Off to redo my meta tags and title......

OK. Here's a stupid tech question that everybody probably knows but me:
Since Ecrater doesn't support HTML code, I'm guessing I can't add SiteMeter. Right? If not, is there any other way to track traffic that will work?Â
Oh, and in case anybody's wondering, I'm not changing my store name to Linda's Lovelace and Shoes.

No, you can't add site meter. The only way I can track my traffic is by looking at the product hits and looking at my adword campaign to see how many have clicked on my ad. It would be nice if they could add a counter on our homepages, but it does not seem that they are quick to make any changes over there.
