Platzki you evil, evil spy. You infiltrator you! You should be ashamed of yourself!
Seriously, what IS it with some people online? You're right, people who become insta-b!tch online typically don't have the cajones in real life to scare a mouse. Must be a really sad life.

Yep some people get their jollies outta making others feel bad... but accusing someone of such a thing as lying about cancer instantly tells me the toxicity of the boards over there. OH WHAT FUN!!!
Stores that packed it in recently:
GMCECHO'S STAMPS FOR GIFTS - 110 items, closed.
Texassweetpea's Books - 36 items, closed. Registered late April as in a week ago.
The Twenty Dollar Curtain Shop - 26 items, closed. Registered in March.

Stop the presses!!! A buyer posted on the buyer board. And here's what they said:

I bought several items last night all from the same seller with the one bid key. I could not find where to ask the seller for a combine invoice. I ask them on the ask seller a question link and emailed there address I got by email from Wagglepop. I have not heard anything and I am wondering if I did it wrong?
Nobody has taken the time to assist this lady. No popper and certainly not CC1, CC2, CC3 or whoever is the flavour of the week.

Nobody has answered this buyers question yet not even CC :blinkie:
Here's some poppers looking for more info. these were posted to the Reminder - April Seller Invoices Now Overdue thread today

Hi There!
Every month it is posted on the boards a number of stores that have closed due to non-payment of fees.
When posting these monthly alerts, can we also get a count of how many stores closed "just because" they wanted to, in good standing?
Also, how about a count of new open stores included?
Thanks,
Quote:Good idea, xxxxx!
I would also, like to see this information
Of course they won't get this info. Ray wants everyone to think that every store that closes does so for non payment.

Have any Poppers even questioned why KaRay would make a big announcement every month about all the deadbeats to begin with? Can you imagine Best Buy posting on the bulletin boards as you walk into the store the number of customers they arrested for shoplifting, the number of employees they fired for showing up late, or the number of sales associates they canned for not keeping their sales quotas?
Oh, wait -- I keep forgetting. WP is a cult, not a business.

Still no sales reports posted for April, either. Time to fire up that random number generator!

Actually there isn't a need to bother asking this question, as you know the answer would be something like "just to make sure they are aware in case they are not getting their e-mails...blah blah blah"
Why waste my lovely fingers typing....I could be making
Regarding the poor seller looking for assistance to close her sale as quoted earlier today:

xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
As much as we would like to, it's simply not possible to watch all of the individual boards at all times looking for questions.
The absolute best way for any member to get answers to questions is first through the Help Center, and secondly direct through Customer Care.
The boards are intended more for questions of a general nature, and member interaction in a friendly and conversational environment, but not intended as a Customer Care contact point in design and nature.
If a question needs an answer from staff, always send it directly to Customer Care.
We're usually pretty quick
Karen - WP Customer Care
Bolding mine. Then why does Customer Care use the boards in reverse - to contact the sellers about site related info, some of which has no place being posted there!
CC1 response to a tally of stores departed in good standing and new stores signed up:

Hello Members,
For the calendar month of April plus May through today 5/3/07:
Suspended for Non-Payment and Referred = 20
Closure Requests and Processed = 18
New SSP Accounts (Stores) = 22
Karen - WP Customer Care
and then a bit further down in the same thread:
Quote:wagglepopCC1 03 May 2007 18:41
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
I had to do a little quick math to calculate the figures by date, as I do not have that specific filter in my console, but it should be "spot on" correct
Karen - WP Customer Care
What was not mentioned is that 8 of these 22 new stores are currently sitting empty. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the why for some of them.
Earlier in this thread about store stats a popper posted:
Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 03 May 2007 18:35
YES that would be VERY helpful. if the average of 20 a month closing keeps up - there won't be any stores left but a handful by the end of the year.....some of that info xxxxx suggested would be encouraging to see.
Or discouraging. Popper, welcome to Wagglepoop math!
