Puke warning....
Quote:Yes, there are alot of Bad rumors about WP. I had a "E" customer, which came over here to buy from me, that send me an email, saying she had read some things about WP on the net, which were not good!!
I explained to her that there are alot of ex-Wagglepoppers that have been let go, because of non-payment, and such! and they may be the one spreading those bad rumors!! It broke my heart to read that email and hope that she knows it is only rumors! and comes back.
Here we go again....
Once and for all - 70% of the store owners didn't leave due to non-payment. The vast majority of that 70% left because of the boinktard running it and all of his lies, deception and inaction. My strong hunch is that many of those "non-payers" were held hostage because they refused to pay their exit fee. Thus, they were lumped in with the ritual monthly account cleansing. Get a CLUE, popper!
As evidenced on this board, many more were current with their bill with hundreds, if not thousands of items. I had close to 1000 items and stuck it out 4 months for a measly 2 sales on one ID. My other ID, with logos and templates, actually faired much better but I think it was because the items catered to the sellers there - the only real customers WP has or will ever have. I WAS ALWAYS ON TIME IN PAYING MY BILL.

xxxxxxxxx,
Regarding sellers and WP, we have a very basic philosophy:
1. Online sellers that like and support WP who want to stay, can stay LOL
2. Online sellers that want to try and then leave WP, can leave, and we wish them nothing but the best of luck and look forward to the opportunity to earn their participation again in the future.
3. Online sellers that do not want to participate on WP at all will not be forced to do so LOL
That's pretty much it, and the only thing we can do to change #1, or #2, or #3 is what we have been doing all along - offering a good and fair site, easily affordable and user friendly.
The rest is up to the sellers: past, present, and future.

That's a few times now the smilie hasn't been evident. Tense are we?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
The "Wanted" feature will be really cool!
The "Wanted" feature, along with near 20 new features and projects already approved and/or developed (note: "Wanted" is fully developed) are simply awaiting funding for coding and (if developed) testing & implementation, which can be generated only by the support of participation.
As noted previously, as a site WP needs to generate the revenues necessary to support it's evolution; it's been one full year without that requirement, and the entire spectrum of upgrades and additions were entirely in-house funded.
Moving forward, we are faced with the difficult task as many businesses are of not only rescheduling improvements, but reworking existing expenses to better relate to existing revenues, which are still below the "break even" standard as currently constructed.
Basically, we anticipated that WP would be much bigger through to this point, and everything about WP is built "big" to handle and plan for that.
Our main focus is on the necessary task of reducing expense while at the same time continuing our high standards for performance and Customer Care.
After one full year, with revenues not up, expenses must naturally come down and we have every expectation that we will be able to achieve that and give us a better fiscal leverage moving forward

I've also noticed "LOL" is being used WAY too often. Laughing can be a defensive and/or nervous reaction in some people, I'm sure it carries over into online 'talk' as well. Getting a bit nervous over there I'd say.
WHAT ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS THAT CRETIN SNIFFING!
Hi EveryoneÂ
Â
I'm back!!!Â
 :turkey1:
Life got in the way for a while. My daughter broke her thumb (finally healed), my mom was in the hospital for almost 3 months (1 month a regular hospital and 2 months in a rehab hospital), we had to move unexpectedly, had no internet, had to buy a new computer, was down with my back (again), my daughter decided to severely sprain her ankle and totally mess up 3 ligaments last week, and a bunch of other stuff has happened.
I sure have missed you all! And I see there are lots of new people here since I last posted.Â
Some names I recognize, and the rest I'm sure I will figure out if and when I ever get caught up with this threadÂ
