Hi everyone. It must be a terrible time for dogs! Our little 4 legged furbaby has come down with a nasty virus. Patches is a 15 year old part yorkie part pomeranian. She actually belongs to my parents but has been a part of the family so long, we are all terribly close to her. She is only about 4 lbs so can get dehydrated awfully fast. We took her to the vet and he gave her some nausea meds, but they really havent been any help. Currently we are giving her a teaspoon (by dropper) of Pedialyte every 15-20 minutes to try to battle the dehydration. At her advanced age, a simple virus could do a lot of damage. Please add her to your thoughts. I don't know how are family would do without her. Thanks.

Sorry to hear your Patches is not feeling well. Â Here's to a quick recovery. Â When one of our fur kids has a bug, I give them Oil of oregano (usually N.A. Herb & spice Oreganol) in a small capsule of acidolphilus. Â For a little dog 1-2 drops in a 1/2 cap of acidolphilus 2x a day would be about right, if you wanted to try it. Â Works remarkably well for all types of nasties. Â Hope she feels better soon.
