My prayers and thoughts are with you, Mom and your family.
My Mom lived with us for her last five years as we battled cancer and emphysema. Our journey was long and hard and we took it one day at a time. Some days were excellent, some were good, some not so good and some horrible and it was a roller coaster of emotions for both Mom and I, but we tried to find something to laugh about every day.
It's very hard to watch somebody, that you love so much, slip away from you but you will have the peace and your Mom will have peace knowing that you are both taking this journey together.
You are fortunate to have other family members to be there with you. I had nobody and it was extremely tough some, if not most, days. Your Mom is also fortunate to have people around her that care.
Hang in there and if you ever want to chat about anything, just give me a holler.
Audrey
Nancy,
you know I think of you every day. I am taking this same roller coaster ride. The highs are high and the lows, well, they are terrible. Over the past year or so my mother and I have become so very close. I thought I knew her well until we started spending many long days together at the hospital or Dr.'s office. Now, I know so much more about who she really is.
You are blessed to have this time, no matter how long it is. I know, I lost my father in a split second with no warning. If I had to choose - I would choose this long roller coaster ride with every dip and sway than to never share something this personal and intimate with my mom.
sending you and your family love.
Sandra

Mama always said if you're gonna be a liar at least be a good one.... Â

Sorry to hear about your troubles too, Sandra. I also lost my Dad in the blink of an eye when he was just 52 yrs old. We had some warning with Dad, but it came much too soon. I'm with you, I would much rather have spent the time with him, like I did with Mom.
Prayers and thoughts are with you, as well.
Wow! I can't believe how much I missed by being away for one day!
Nancy my thoughts are with you, your mom and family.
Platz congrats on your 1000th.....
Hi to all who lurk!
I handed out some karma to all!
Sandra you are also in my thoughts and prayers.
GM all!
NJR and Fine ... ((hugs))
njr and Fine... you guys are making me cry. My thoughts are with you both. I hate that you are going thru this rough time. Try to stay strong and enjoy those precious moments you have left...
Present store count: 197. Store count in October 939.
As of today, WP has lost over 4/5 of its stores, and even more of its sellers, since many of the remaining Poopers have multiple stores, and a good chunk of the remaining stores are proven ghosts.
I don't know about anybody else here, but if I lost over 4/5 of my business in the last 8 months I would think:
a) I made a major mistake somewhere
b) Something terribly wrong with my business model
c) This is not the business for me
Instead, Ray thinks:
a) Damn those non-payers
b) I did everything right, and if it weren't for all those naysayers and miscreants, everything would be wonderful
c) I'm still the next best thing since sliced bread and a real alternative to eBay
Now, lurkers, PS, MBB, User and all you Â
drugged drones, which assessment seems to be the most sane and logical to you?
