Moving on now what is the plan and how was it derived?
Well we should all be in agreement that Ray has gone back to eBay to sell. We know of a website that he is using to store pictures on and we know about the time he started that, early April of 2007. If you reasearched the vpagrading domain you will find that that is owned by Ray and there was an older now defunct domain mentioned there as well (romeocollectables). All of this is still in the very early on stages and even the landing page for vpagrading isn't really loaded yet. We do know that his eBay ID and store is active again and products have been added. Stay tuned to see how this developes as I caught this very early on and it would be benificial to keep an eye on how it developes. I truly believe that idea of how to do this came from this thread as Ray does lurk here.
What beholds for WP in the coming months:
Not much but collecting seller fees before the time comes when Ray needs to adapt to the limited market that there is for alternative sellers. Even with, what is it less then 190 stores now, Ray is making far more money each and every month then most of the alternative sites.
Ray will continue to collect for as long as possible and then he will adapt to the market as a few of his inner circle members have been laying the groundwork for that adaptation when the time comes.
More to come...

Yes, Truth. Please enlighten us. We are all waiting to find out the secret to great wealth and much success from being a samming boinktard, complete idiot and total ass.
[/quote]
The formula is quite simple really. Get your own website and avoid spamming boinktard, idiot asses.
So Truth, as I get it, the grand plan went like this:
Ray knows he's an idiot and has no clue how to run a business so he relies on the "brainiacs" on TT to give him free advice. It's also in his best interests to keep the rattlesnakes here hot and bothered because that gives him an excuse to go back to his adoring cheerleaders, give them tales of woe about naysayers, trolls and paid eBay informants bent on destoying his dopey site, so they'll have a cause to stay on board and line his pockets to "defeat" the common enemy, which is TT. It's also in his best interests to banish the smart, enterprising, creative, questioning people and give them all kinds of wombat poo poo to give him plenty of fuel to feed the adoring, goosestepping, drones while at the same time lurking here and gaining insite how to run a real business from all the TRULY successful sellers here.
Hear that Poopers. Ray is feeding into your fears of the menace that is TT, because he knows you are stupid, mindless, worker bees who need to "belong" - who will kiss Ray's bointardial butt and believe whatever he tells you. And as long as he can keep you "afeared" of the menace that is TT and all those horrible "negative" people, the more money he can pump (extort) out of you to finance his own personal ventures of which you receive ZERO benefit.
Think about it.
the next time you proudly proclaim that you don't care whether you make a sale or not, but you will stay by Ray's side like a droopy-eyed, obedient puppy, purely on "principle" and send your monthly fee to Ray's bank account like clockwork.
Woah!

Exactly and here is why:
This does not always apply but when it comes to some alternative sites such as WP and Hibidder to name another it does and always will apply. I don't want to generalise this as all sites because there are some realistic alternatives that are viable or will be becoming viable places to sell in the near future. Â
I will touch on Hibidder briefly but that is the unity word that I warned everyone about a few days ago. Look at the unity sites that claim St. Elsewhere beliefs and you will see the same sellers selling to the same sellers accross the board. Watch for the word unity because in the alternative to eBay selling enviorment, the only thing it means is a bunch of boinktards working together to take your money anyway possible.
Look for WP to continue on as long as Ray is making money for the next month or 2 and then look towards the word unity in alternatives to eBay and you most likely will find WP or a version of it there. Imagine a single site with grouped resources acting as a mini google with all the same sellers on all these different sites within it. Is that something you think you will be able to turn a profit from? I don't think so it will only benifit the people who own it and the only people affected by it are the sellers. Selling to each other yada yada yada unified in one goal. Making money for the site owners while taking from as always the sellers.
More to come but I will take some questions now if you like...

Au contraire!
Ray is no idiot. He knows exactly how to run a business...it just wasn't an ethical business.
Quote: would it have been better to start off with the site being free which would have put an end to that question. Then once you reached your level of participation and the so called merger went through then could start charging a fee
If he had started off free and then started charging fees later he would have suffered the same fate as Yahoo Auctions and BidBay: sellers exited both sites en masse when they announced fees. Â Listings dropped from 2 million to 200K on Yahoo when they started charging fees fees in 2001, BidBay suffered a similar fate and listings dropped from a few million (recipe auctions) to a few hundred thousand. Â Overstock also suffered the same fate last December when it eliminated subscription plans and went back to charging per listing--listings dropped from 340K at the beginning of December to 20K in January.

So, Truth, is it your belief that Ray is part of a syndicate that puts sites like WP together solely for the purpose of attracting naive, impressionable sellers in a moment of weakness and then proceeds to siphon their bank accounts as long as the ride lasts? That at no time did Ray really have any intention of creating any kind of "eBay alternative", but was simply using that as a pick-up line?
Truth I've seen this unity banner on a website are you saying that WP or Ray is a part of this? When I clicked on that banner it took me to an auction site I forget what country it was based in or the name of the site. I would have to go back and try to find it to know for sure. I know it wasn't in the US as the currency there was not in US dollars.
Quote:"negative" people
Quote:the menace that is TT
The message Ray is sending by listing on eBay rather than on his own site is far more negative and damaging than anything that has ever been said or done on this thread but when WP2 goes up in flames the blame will be wrongly placed on TT just as it was wrongly placed on OTWA after Ray pulled the plug on WP1.
