Scoop, the point is not what you posted to DB on PSU. The point is that she took those words, twisted them, and blamed them on someone else. For nearly the last entire year that we know of, she has done this twisting, exaggerating, and inventing hundreds of times over again. I'm surprised that it took this long for some of you to realize that she does this. I believe that any problem that she ever thought she had with WP was 100% her and nothing else. Same with the other fellow involved in the current dispute. Then we saw an endless stream of gullible WP sellers feeding off of those 2 posters' ridiculous lies, manipulations, misleading false information, etc. and giving up selling on the best eBay alternative site that exists. Now the truth has been told.

User once again you are incorrect. So go back to your little WP corner andÂ
Hey User My question again in case you missed it:
What do you think about Ray selling on ebay but not his own site?
bratpack Wrote:Since you decided to grace us with your presence can you answer a question for me?

I'd like to hear the answer to that question too. Â If Ray wasn't so brainwashed by eBaythink he'd realize that you don't need eBay to earn a good living selling online. Â If Ray doesn't know enough about ecommerce to market his own items without eBay then he definitely doesn't know enough for Wagglepop to ever become a viable alternative to eBay.

You're obviously very ignorant of the alternatives to eBay.
Did you ever hear of Amazon (or Etsy, Craigslist, Ecrater, etc for that matter). Â You can't earn a living selling on WP which is why no PeSA or IMA members even bother with the place. Â It's only an alternative for sellers who don't rely on online sales for their income and who care more about having a warm fuzzy forum than they do about earning a living.
As a 'Newbie' here... I'd like to ask everyone what exactly they feel the common 'goal' is here. Â
I don't think I came into this thread with a 'goal' except to mend wounds and to find my lost WP friends.
 Support became a bashing party!
My underlying feeling in regards to Ray and Wagglepop are that there is some underlying 'issue' weather it be cultism or a beginning of a new scam or just a crutch of monthly income to keep Ray working on a newer scam. Â
All the things we all have going on in our daily lives outside of the computer makes it difficult for some of us to remember exactly who said what. Â And for those of us who have just started to piece together the puzzle that spans over more than one forum and over more than one thread and now for more than one year, it's even more difficult.
Truly, I don't believe that the current sellers on Wagglepop are cult members - somedays it feels that way. Â I'm know I've poked sarcasm and am guilty of name calling but in the end, I really feel that Wagglepop was built as a grudge against the ever fee-raising Ebay. Â Ray has a horrible attitude. Â No one in business (a good business) treats customers (both his sellers and his buyers and their buyers) this way, especially if he expects to gain any equity in his business. Â This leads a lot of people to believe that WP wasn't built to be a long term business. Â
This is where I find interest in what Truth has to say in regards to the "unity" issue. Â Going beyond what happened over the past year and working on discovering what is in store for the future of current and new Wagglepoppers.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it. Â This goes both ways. Â Koolaide and cucumber water. Â And, I had to laugh at the dead horse statement and the mention of Trigger because I used to have a horse named Trigger when I was a kid... Â
All in all, I am happy to be out of Wagglepop.
Truth, I'll be watching for the new thread...

User I know the point you were trying to make by posting that. Â I just figured seeing it was brought up again. Â I would explain my self again just in case any members here had missed my last post there or know that I apologized. Â It's something I'm very sorry for doing.
Now to the part of your post above that I bolded. Â I disagree with you on this. Â While it seems that DB may have got some of the facts confused on occassion there are many many things on this thread that are true. Â You are making it sound like this whole thread is misleading and full of lies. Â It's not. Â Personally I don't know how you can even argue with some of the facts posted here. Â The proof is there. Â WP is not even close to the best.
Now User if you could please answer Brat's question. Â I think it's a very good question and would like to hear your take on this. Â

bolding mine....
I have followed the trials and tribulations of Wagglepop and Ray Romeo since it's inception. Thankfully, I never subcumbed and sold either during WP1 or WP2.Â
I truly believe that when Ray originally created Wagglepop (WP1) it was built in an attempt to become a viable alternative to eBay. However, when the fallacies of his plans were pointed out to him he reacted with anger, frustration and pulled the plug rather than take well-intended advice.
When Wagglepop was resurrected in May 2006 (WP2), I truly believe it was for the sole purpose of providing himself with a guaranteed monthly income and proving to the previous 'naysayers' he could run an auction site. If it prospered great, but if it didn't...oh well, it was good (for him) while it lasted.

Yes it is.

I think it's a silly question. Â Anyway I know from experience that many things can be learned from having an eBay store and listings. Â For example one little thing could be to test loading the store with listings, get them all into Turbo Lister, then upload them into a WP store using InventoryDirect. Â He could see how smoothly the process goes and if there are any unexpected quirks that WP members might encounter while attempting the same. Â It's so obvious to me that many things could learned from having that eBay store and listings. Â No doubt he has listings on several other venues that nobody has discovered yet. Â I know that WP is the best site around from being around many other sites.

How so? Would you care to point out the pros and cons of WP over let's say the top 5 auction venue's?

1. Once again--did you ever hear of Amazon? (Etsy, Craigslist, Ecrater, etc)Â
I know a couple of sellers who grossed over $1 million on Amazon last year which is more than WP's GMV.
2. Â WP has under 14,000 members (translation: potential buyers). Â There are people posting on this thread who have customer lists that are several times larger than WP's membership.
I'll have to assume that by "best alternative" you mean WP has the warmest fuzziest forum and not WP is the best choice if you want (need) sales.
