The most recent "proclamations from Ray/Karen" as declared on WP's Community Forum:
"Hello Members,
Beginning today, we have implemented our new account maintenance software to
be better able to track members in good standing versus those for whom trust
is too heavy a burden. In doing so, starting today and over the next 7 to 10 days we will be
determining which sellers will be staying with us, and which sellers will
not. It's that group that will be with us as we continue evolving the Wagglepop of today, and work towards our bright future
Wagglepop is going to be growing and changing in all of the ways that matter
most, and only our dedicated and trustworthy sellers are going to be a part
that . . . . that dedication will be rewarded in some
rather remarkable ways . . . I wish I could be more specific, but suffice it to say that the saying "good
things come to those who wait" could not be any more appropriate.
We are no where near out of surprises
Karen - WP Customer Care"
The sheep heading for slaugher:
"I'll admit it - my curiosities up now! LOL! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us Always something good!"
"WOW! It sounds exciting! {{{waving hands}}}} "pick me, pick me" lol
Aha....more cryptic promises!"
"One of the things I love about WP is that when we receive a "Cryptic
Promise" there is ALWAYS something good on the horizon!"
"I LOVE surprises! Can't wait to see what is in store for us. I'm with (XXX),
pick me, pick me! LOL Wagglepop all the way!"
Account tracking software? Perhaps to monitor "suspicious" activities. Do I smell McCarthyism? Do I smell a witch hunt? I do I hear the voices of Adolf Hitler, Jim Jones, David Koresch, Rev. Moon? Do I see crosses burning? Hmmmmm.
Consider the following as characteristics of cult philosophy:
[i]1) shroud the philosophy in mysticism and secrecy.
5) segregate, punish and banish dissidents as polluters of the purity and sanctity of the cause
7) give the faithful a sense of belonging and that belonging is a privilege that must be earned. Leaders have the right to suspend that privilege at any time should they feel it will benefit their own self-interests, using the argument that it is for the good of the members
8) carefully control the image of the movement by whatever means the leaders deem appropriate.
12) remind followers daily that they, and only they, are good and all others are evil. Only the leaders and followers who have taken the oath are to be wholeheartedly trusted.
18) continually remind followers that patience is the ultimate virtue. Should they ever feel that change is slow, always use the “Rome wasn’t built in a day” analogy and rewards beyond their dreams will given to those who are patient and faithful
21) leaders have the right to arbitrarily change the laws, policies, and procedures that govern their actions or the actions among the flock if they feel it is in their (the leadersÂ’) best interests to do so. Since leaders have supreme wisdom, there is no need for followers to question leaders' decisions in these matters, nor would they, as they would not wish to risk abandonment from the cult or retribution from its leaders.
24) instill in the minds of the followers that cult membership has something unique, special, world-changing and unable to be obtained anywhere else except through blind allegiance to the leaders
