Good point, hadn't even thought of that.

Or any of them for that matter. I only looked at her feedback in particular because of how vocal she's been. The same could be applied to most of the other sellers (if not all). I honestly don't get it. Oh - I might understand if they were all self-proclaimed hobby sellers that really didn't care (or pay attention) to the numbers. There are lots of sellers that fit in that category and there's nothing wrong with it. It's when I hear terms like "dabbler" and "serious seller" coming out of
these seller's mouths that I take pause. I think Sneaky said it -- they ARE dabblers! All of 'em.
In the first 6 months I could see giving it a chance; but when the SECOND holiday season passes by with barely a blip sales-wise. Gee? Don't ya think it's time to rethink this venue?
Oh well. I really couldn't care less anymore. It's just one of those things I can't wrap my head around no matter how hard I try. I suppose it's a good thing... probably means I won't be joining any cults soon.

FYI: My new spyware software that I installed after my computer was hijacked and sending spam without my knowledge, has identified WP as a
BAD SITE with HIGH LEVEL degree of insecurity and capability of infections. BTW: It found Tulip Tools safe.

Could you tell me what software you installed?
I'm getting spam mail from myself :o
I'm selling Swiss Rolex Watches.

I installed "Spy Doctor". According to "PC Magazine" and other sources I checked, it is the best at tagging and removing spyware threats. My Norton Anti-Virus has a spyware feature, but it doesn't catch anywhere near what "Spy Doctor" catches -- e.g. the latest threat causing Comcast to block me from sending emails for a week.
Thanks DB!!
How much did you pay or did you do the free trial
offer of SpyDoctor?

I believe we paid $29.99. I just downloaded it off the site.
Edit: My husband is now telling me that Best Buy has it on sale for $9.99.
I decided to go a little deeper about holiday sales from Wagglepop sellers.
Total unique customers leaving feedback since 11/25, which estimates their purchases to be before 11/20.
Rebecca's Books And More - 5
Way Back Vintage Ads & More - 4
Paper Fetch - 1
BusterBidit's Finds and Creations - 2
Berning's Bargains 9
GiGi's Chictique - 0
BUTTERFLY'S ATTIC - 8
COLLECTORS HOT SPOT - 2 (only 6 total feedback in 1 1/2 years... why pay?)
Beads By Brenda - 1
SILVER CHARM LIQUIDATORS - 15 (224 total feedbacks, at least 150 from one buyer, who accounts for 1/3 of their total feedback)
And I can't leave him out... Ray's poster child for InventoryDirect, Automotively Floored, with a whopping ZERO customers this holiday season.
So Ray's little marketing plan has produced a total of 47 customers to buy from his "top 10" sellers over the holidays. I guess these sellers need a simple economic lesson...
Sell, make money.
No sell, lose money.
Any questions?

It's been pretty obvious since coming on board at WP, AF's "reason d'etre" is simply to artificially inflate the listing statistics. Hell will go to absolute zero before he ever sells a floormat on WP. Come on, now. Nobody, not even Mr. AF, could be stupid enough to believe he/she would ever be a success selling overpriced, highly-specialized items on a venue nobody visits.
I'm guessing that many of the "top listers" on WP still have stores there simply because Ray makes it so hard and time-consuming to properly de-list and close.Â

Another big accounter for the store aboves feedback is Unique Bookmarks and Beads who just happens to be from the same county Pennsylvania - Lehigh County and further investigation reveals that they are actually living on the same street.
I wonder what kind of shipping discounts they give each otherÂ
Pennsylvania - Lehigh County at this time accounts for all 3 showcase stores in poopland.
Let the Truth be Told

Good catch, Truth.
I also noticed the other day, that our favorite cheerleader has feedback from another "seller", who also lives in the same county and has his/her auctions "private."

Three months ago, I bought an airplane mold to make scented soaps in the shape of airplanes for my son to enjoy. This is the item:

Cute, isn't it? The seller lives in my state, not in my county. There are no other Wagglepop sellers in my county that I know of. Would you also like to know what I ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day in 2007 and who I ate with and where they were from? Or have you already had cameras installed in my home and my car to obtain that information?  :
If not, perhaps I can set up a web cam for your benefit. What you need are more irrelevant snippets of information about me that you can twist into something that bears no resemblance to reality.
Or you could get out of 2006, forget about me and everyone else who sells on Wagglepop, and do something meaningful with the rest of your life.
