Quote:OUR STORE HAVE A MAJORITY OF USED ITEMS. WE CARRY ALL KIND OF ITEMS. ANY WHERE FROM CLOTHES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, SHOES, TOYS, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, ETC. IF THERE BE ANY FLAWS IN OUR ITEMS WE DO NOTE IT. WE WILL NOT MISLEAD YOU ARE OUR FIRST PRIORITY.
Interesting that the name of the store is "Scoot n Sibling's". An Ebay store by the name of "Scoot n Dad's" says to "Check out our stuff at wagglepop.com user ID scootscards." However, he/she is nowhere to be found on WP.Â
EDIT: BTW, if it is the same "Scoot", according to the eBay "Me" page, she is 14 (Dad owns the eBay store) and therefore it would be against policy for her to have a store on WP, as policy states registrants must be at least 18 years of age and have the ability to enter into a legally binding contract.
And then there's a SHOWCASE store, ($49.99 now to be raised to $79.99 in two weeks) that has $10.18 worth of inventory.Â
Quote:FYI- they're paying $30 to list $0.75 worth of inventory.

Dad's money would be better spent buying his daughter some remedial English books.

To help WP promote its all-so-important, seller-to-seller activity, maybe we should introduce Scoot's dad to PS's 4-year-old son's store. His only listing is a series of high school "acheiver" software.

DB, I don't think it's the same seller or seller family. To start with the store name is Scooter - not Scoot. Also, on the ME page of the WP seller she states her name and a bit about herself.
Quote:MY NAME IS GLORIA HEDGEMON AND I AM THE OWNER OF THIS ONLINE STORE. BEFORE I GOT INTO THIS BUSINESS, I OPERATED MY OWN CHILDCARE FOR MORE THAN 12 YEARS. IÂ’M NOLONGER IN THAT FIELD, BECAUSE I HAD A FIRE WHICH OCCURRED. ONCE I WAS STABLE AGAIN, I DECIDED TO GET IN THIS FIELD, BECAUSE IT GAVE ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET MORE PEOPLE AND TO BROADEN MY HORIZONS. SINCE I AM A MOTHER OF A LARGE FAMILY, I UNDERSTAND HOW IT IS TO TRY TO SURVIVE IN SOCIETY TODAY, THAT'S WHY OUR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. SO JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND LOOK AROUND. IF THERE IS NOTHING OF INTEREST TO YOU, JUST SPREAD THE WORD FOR US. THANKS GLORIA
I just hope while she ran a day care she wasn't teaching grammar to the poor wee ones.Â
I'm thinking poor Scoot should be holding on to this item:

"Overcoming The Enemy" Book
Little does she know she just signed on with the devilÂ

You're probably right, as always, Sherrand. It is a rather odd coincidence that the names are so similar and the eBay Scoot still has a promo for WP on his eBay listing.
My question: how in the bloody blue blazes can this beleaguered mother of a large family whose child care business suffered a catastrophe justify spending $30/mo to have a WP store with less than $2 worth of inventory that nobody buys? Does she think this grand sacrifice will get her at the front of the line at heaven's gate?

I'm guessing but it could be a case of Scoot N Cards using an old template, one that someone he once sold beside on WP created for him. He either doesn't have the knowledge to remove it or isn't even aware the information is still embedded in his current auctions. He's been gone from WP for over a year. Hey, think about it - he's a man. They don't fuss about the small details.

A very good question. Ummm...all of them.Â
And while we are playing Truth And Consequences, I have to confess that I am aware of PS making many more sales than her feedback reflects. I don't buy $76.xx whatever per day but I can verify it is more than the public can see. So it begs the question. Why can some sellers (the Pennsylvania jewelry twins come to mind) get their customers to leave feedback but PS appears to have a problem? Is it a case of the attitude 'if you can't say anything good then don't say anything at all', lack of pursuit on her part to ease the process for her customers to reciprocate, typical WP buyer lethargy? I dunno. It is indeed a mystery.
What does burn me about PS is what Sneaky pointed out. She only advertises/spams her WP site. Never does she promote or mention her other selling venues via tags or board signatures. She has minimal stock listed on these other venues making the odds, coupled with the first point, a shoe-in for WP sales. Google her name and the other venues don't even come up with any frequency because she depends on Wps miraculous SEO to do the job. So of course she can boast with confidence about her WP sales being the greater. That store is the only one constantly exposed!
Begs another question. Are her SEO rankings due to WPs submissions or her own? Because some WP sellers, well they aren't even a blip on the radar screen even after weeks of having items listed.
Curiouser and curiouser....

The devil went down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind: he was willin' to make a deal.Â
Sherrand, I have always wondered about the same thing, concerning PS and spamming the internet about WP. It is very curious. I've seen her hanging around and whining on various other venues and she never promotes them. Very strange.
This is for you RayÂ
