While I would admit that PS and FMG probably sell more on WP than they show, the fact that FMG only shows evidence of a grand total of less than $6 gross sales plus free shipping in the last six months would make this recent post of his on PSU a bit suspect:
"For the record, my Wagglepop sales for yesterday alone were $159.84 plus shipping. My friend who you also like to dump your hatred on pulled in $180. from Wagglepop yesterday and $486.77 from all of her stores combined. Just in case you were wondering.
You are free to have your own opinion as far as Wagglepop is concerned but some of us are thankful that we know better."

If the sales are so wonderful why has the store count dropped to a new low (59) during the busiest sales weeks of the year?
Question:
AndRay said on June 25, 2008 that sitewide 35% of Wagglepop buyers leave feedback. Nimrod has 6 feedback from buyers in the past 6 months and FMG has 3. Assuming FMG and PS aren't lying through their teeth about their wonderful WP sales, why is the feedback received percentage of these 2 sellers so far below the site average? Inquiring sharks want to know.
reference:
AndRay Wrote:In the past 21 days, we have had 503 new registered members.
Those 503 new registered members made a total of 342 purchases and left 121 positive feedback (zero neutral, zero negative) - a 35% "feedback left" rate which is quite typical sitewide. I imagine that percentage will increase when very recent seller shipments arrive to customers.

Primarily because their percentage of NON seller-to-seller sales is very high. Â

Aren't most of the 59 Wagglepop store owners technically non-sellers since their items sit there unbought for all eternity?

Is a WP stores fee decrease on the horizon?
PS on PSU Wrote:If you don't think the $29.95/month is workable, keep checking back because I think they may be making a change in '09 to make the upfront cost easier for everyone.

While the holidays near like many of you we are taking some time to review and discuss internally our business plans - not only the needs of Wagglepop and Wagglepop membership, but the general functions of ecommerce in general as well - be it eBay, Wagglepop, another independent site, or standalone ecommerce stores/carts.
We would very much like to have some open membership input on this topic.
>What do you require of an ecommerce site? What would you like?
>How important is diversification related to "opportunity cost" - that is, related to being able to effectively budget your workday time?
>Do you prefer upfront fixed costs versus performance costs?
>How many different channels (sites/carts) are part of your business plan?
>What are your plans? Goals? Wishes? Budgets?
>If you could change Wagglepop in any way(s) - what would those ways be? How would you address site revenue generation relative to site support?
Be as specific or as general as you'd like. Any/all comments, thoughts, and contributions are welcome and we thank you in advance for helping us in our ongoing goal of being able to provide one (or more than one) site as part of an overall effective ecommerce solution.

Nope. I don't personally know any non-sellers on the site. As for particular items, they do not sit there unbought for all eternity unless they are priced too high or should be listed with a better title, description, picture, etc.

We know that if you are willing to pay us $30 a month for the same thing you can do on other "alternatives" to eBay for free, then we believe you are blind enough to pay us instead of others for new services you can get from dozens of others for free or nearly free. Now, just tell us how much you pay to everyone else, and we will get the kool aid pitcher stirred to bring you a shiny new feature or two for a small fee.

Update: One more lamb has jumped the fence. 58 sheep still in the pen.
