Not to mention that Ray still has a rather extensive data base of names and email addresses he pocketed from the thousands of X-popper registrants over the years -- info he can pawn to spammers and scammers as long as the sun shines. No doubt he needs the money considering that out of nearly 2600 listings he had on eBay this last week, he only grossed $64.35.

Quote:Whoever it is should take the false advertisement of "lower pricing" down since they really just raised the price for the same old POS script.
Based on a long string of examples of small software developers tiring of developing their scripts and selling the licensing rights of their essentially dead product, the odds of any further development of the script now that it's been sold are slim to nil. The new owner most likely purchased the rights to the script hoping for a high margin no-effort income stream from license sales.

Gross and net are irrelevant and illogical considerations. The number of 99 cent 1-bid "sells" is all that matters. :twistedevil:

The new owner is phase 2 in the product lifecycle of a dead outdated script.
This will be
the 3rd and final phase for the RScript auction script

Mandy and all the other jealous type naysayers were wrong. The WaggleScript lives! RScript v3 announcement:
[quote=RScript 9/2]
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that we’re diligently working on many new features of Rscript Auction Software and have fixed many small issues found in the code and plan on releasing the Version 3 before the end of the year.
RScript v3 is now available and the software has been renamed KMSAuction (rscript.com now redirects to kmsauction.com)
Anybody have a clue what Ray's doing these days? Last I saw, he had a ton of mag cut-outs listed on eBay for 99 cents each, and sold very few of them. He has since left eBay -- "no longer registered."
I guess it was too much trouble to redirect to the "Marketshare"Â
He would have made a lot more money with that than on eBay.
It looked like he was actually having decent sales on eBay before he left, 10-15 FB a day, until I saw his average prices... They make aSs look great.
Maybe he just couldn't make a go of it anymore and imploded, racked up fees and let them kick his sorry a$$ off.
How does it feel to be banned Ray?
I bet it was those darned naysayers that tore down Wagglepop hitting you again.
Or, maybe it was Vero coming after you for selling copyrighted magazine images.Â
And I almost felt sorry for him.

Hmm... I can buy a better looking script than Ray paid $5000 for less than $400.
Nah...

That would be my guess, he had 3000 fixed price listings and his ASP was under $2.

My favorite feature of the new RScript release is its ability to make the Anibid/Auctionquests/Plunderhere/Alsoshop/buggy PHP Pro Bid mod maker squirm at the thought that PSU rinky dink owners might try a boxed script other than PHP Pro Bid.

Quote:Vero coming after you for selling copyrighted magazine images.
The resale of the copyrighted magazines themselves is allowed under the first sale doctrine. Reproducing the magazine ads and selling the reproductions (i.e. paper copies, digital copies, or photos of the original work) is definitely not allowed but reselling the original cutout magazine ads I'm not sure about...the copyright holder could try to claim that by cutting out the ad from its original medium the seller had created an infringing derivative work but the seller could counter that cutting out the ads was fair use...they could also counter that no derivative work was created by cutting out the magazine ad and the sale fell under the first sale doctrine
short answer: I don't know but I think the copyright holder would have a hard time winning a lawsuit.

NARU, the red-nosed Romeo
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.
All of the infiltrators
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor NARU
join in any naysayer games.
Then one foggy October Eve
John Donahoe came to say:
"NARU with your nose so bright,
won't you get the hell off my site tonight!"Â :blinkie:
Then all the paid Feebay employees laughed at him
as they shouted out with glee,
NARU the red-nosed Romeo,
your ass is history!
