NEH!!
So glad you got the hell outta KoolAidLand and glad to have you here!
I saw your initial post on WP this morning and even though it didn't violate policy, I knew it would be pulled. Its obvious you let CK's posts roll off your back - as well you should. He/she/it has NO CLUE what is going on, that's obvious. Give it a few months, he'll be over whining about how he got screwed by Her Royal Highness and King Fuzzy Slippers. He's one of the ones I just can't/won't feel sorry for. Its all about karma - you set in motion the events that will affect your future. And CK if you're lurking - you did just that!
Edited cuz KoolAid dude didn't want to show up on my post!
NEH,
, We're all proud of you for taking a stand!
As a reformed Popper, who had a store there for 3 months, but began having suspicions almost from the beginning, I can say unequivacally that you are NOT alone. The emails from KaRay are identical to the ones I received before being "terminated" (I think I may have posted one or two in this thread). I, too posted queations and concerns similar to yours on WP, and although none of my posts were against board policy as I understood it, many were pulled anyway. I even went so far as to ask KaRay to exerpt the sections of my posts that were in violation and requested what part of the policy they violated, but received no response. And, like you, I was presented with a Final Invoice seconds AFTER my account was terminated, even though I was paid in full. I just told them to shove it and I would sue if KaRay pressed the issue. Simple as that -- it took care of it. WP is a cult, with KaRay as the "divine one" surrounding himself with disciples and blind followers. Like you, I was made to feel like an idiot for asking about marketing, business plans, etc., was told my merchandise was crap, otherwise I'd be selling (although same items sold on eBay no problem, for more money), that I was lazy and stupid and a traitor for expressing concern over obvious discrepencies. One of the disciples went so far as to call me a liar and a cheat. Of course my post was deleted when I requested an apology. I know it's raw now, but like coming home from a bad date, it gets better with time.

TRUTH --
You're right on, in my opinion, with the Wagglefacts. Â
Keep up the good work. Did you read my last post here on the "conversation" with KaRay, a couple pages ago? Seems we've come to similar conclusions regarding KaRay's alterior motives and reasons for executing the "plan", a.k.a. "scam." Just read between the lines and connect the dots. It's all there, if you know where to look.

Quote:I had requested twice via email to close my store with Wagglepop. And yet the invoices keep continuing and I have nothing in the store whatsoever.
I FINALLY get a response today from Karen with Wagglepop...after two months of hearing nothing..
I received an email from Karen with a faux (fake) cc and bc stating it's been forwarded to the legal department of Wagglepop. (I checked the headers and there was no such cc to that department, it's easy enough to check)
Wagglepop is attempting via threats and false cc's on emails to force a member (don't call me a seller cause the site didn't work for my sales) to pay an outstanding balance that could've been handled and settled months earlier had they answered their customer contact help questions.
Due to their unprofessional treatment of customers, their inability to answer their emails/contact in a timely manner and for using false CC and more on emails with threats to strongarm sellers...I can not and wouldn't recommend anyone to use Wagglepop.

The above quote was posted by suthernjewl. There is no legal department, so the emails from Ray regarding threats for payment are bogus. I would think that it could be illegal as well. The person CK is a guy I believe. He has a B & M store, a website, and an ebay store, so my question is why is he A) selling on WP and more importantly why is he such a diehard defender of WP? He has got to be a friend of Ray. Nothing else makes sense. :blinkie:

Egads!!???!!
Karay is on the job, ensuring each feedback comment left is monitored and approved? How many arms does this creature have?

Send intimidating email to those who do not comply - who are not willing to be part of the collective.
Other sundry boinkery, time permitting of course. Multiple listings, fudged feedback, mesmerising sermons to the flock. Etc. etc. etc.
I bad.

YOHB,
I think it was Regic who said that at most, WP can operate as a part-time job. So think about it, what really does KaRay have to do for the rest of the day except sit in a bathrobe with fuzzy slippers, placate the masses with canned carrots, tweek the figures, pull posts, terminate accounts and sermonize with "cut n' paste" boinktard blah-blah on the merits of the single fee system and anti-ebay-think? Unlike the rest of us, KaRay doesn't have to worry about answering buyer questions, mailing, packing, marketing, advertising and everything else that goes with being a seller. Even the post violation warnings and termination notices are formularized. Â
Alskling,
Are you talking about this quote?
Quote:EXACTLY! But I think it goes even deeper than that. One fact that is very obvious about the stores on WP, and has been largely ignored, is the over-representation of stores selling trading cards, post cards, magazines, magazine ads and books -- more than most any other e-commerce site, other than Amazon, which is what it's supposed to be. Consider:
If so I am working on this issue. I am just trying to get the facts in order to prove this one.

I pretty much came to the same conclusion. After reading a few posts by him, I did some research and found his website, etc. The only reason for him to be a huge cheerleader for Pop Land is either he's a friend or family member of Ray's, or it's one of Ray's alter ego's. I wonder how many alter ego's he actually hasÂ
TRUTH,
Yep, that one. READ THROUGH EACH SECTION. There's a logical explanaton for everything, including KaRay's reason for creating the site, for NOT advertising, for using cult tactics to gain support, etc. There's a "plan" all right, but it's not the one KaRay is divulging to the adoring masses.
Alskling & all,
The stores that I found to have a connection so far are:
#'s 4, 6, 9, 28, 30, 39, 40, 97 by todays listing #'s
What I have noticed so far is this:
Look at the feedback and location. Most are from Canada.
Pay close attention to the buyer. Most of the buyers don't have a store on WP and if the buyer does he/she is also selling sports cards. This is an easy way for ray to fudge all #'s listing count, sales report & the store count. Keep in mind I am still looking into this and in no way do I think it is limited to this list. I think it is much more than what I have said here. I just don't have all the time in the world to gather evidence I still need to make money although I really want to get him. By the way has anyone looked at my X-POP store in my signature I have some nice stuff in there (PLUG).Â
