Hey Peg - no, I didn't get banned yet.......I'm in under another username....close to mine, just added a letter so I can look at the boards. And remember.....pengies rule ! Love ya!
Quote:While I cannot discuss precise details of our internal marketing strategy, I can relate in generalities that it will use elements from targeted search engine paid placement, strategic text and banner ads, and some conventional print advertising.
The print advertsing will likely appear in 45-60 days due to publication lead times.
In addition, we'll be releasing our first press release and running a handful of charity auctions. Although we contribute as a company to charities regularly, we feel that running public auctions sponsored by Wagglepop will benefit both those charities and WP membership alike.
Ok, so when asked on the boards about advertising, there was continual avoidance of the questions, then a reply of mid 2007 and then finally May 2007. So now that 1/3 of the stores have left they are going to advertise :blinkie: :blinkie:Â
Print advertising in newspapers does not have a lead time of 45-60 days only magazines have these lead times or monthly publications. That must mean that Raybil will be advertising in "Sports Card" publications.
Finally after how many months, a press release. This is free advertising and was suggested many times.
Donates to charity? Won't spend money on advertising to build the business for his customers but donates to charity. Donations made to Ray's cat, Ray's dog, Ray's rabbit.....
This post is Raylicious in natureÂ

Quote:Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing a Wanted section specific to each category and subcategory allowing potential buyers who visit Wagglepop a method to let sellers know directly what they are looking for.
That's worked so well on Ebay. :
Quote:Hello Members,
Following up on previous discussions, I can post an update about the Wagglepop merchandise portal.
Finalized in design and for inclusion during the first quarter of 2007 is the new portal called Wagglepop Stuff.
By visiting Wagglepop Stuff, members (and non-members) will be able to browse and purchase WP-branded items such as t-shirts, mouse pads, and hats (as examples), but also be able to browse some interesting "historical" collectible-type items related to Wagglepop in general.
We think everyone will find Wagglepop Stuff to be an interesting and fun place to visit and shop, and a nice addition and support to our overall marketing of Wagglepop over the long-run
