I turn my head just for a moment and go back and see they have added a couple more stores in the dead of nite... now 402 ... Can you beleive that??? wow..... man o man !!
If Wagglepop wants to be a contender for anything other than the laughingstock of the auction world it should use paid advertising rather than forum spamming to get its message out. ÂÂ
Brian, are you the spammer formerly known as deepriverman?Â
EDIT: Cranky posted before I hit the submit button.ÂÂ

I did a quick Yahoo search of the phrase "wow..... man o man" and the number 1 search result is a star of WP1. What a coincidence!

That "wow" kind of spamming is sickening. I'll admit that I like the site and find the growth to be impressive, but I'm am also wondering why Ray is still in hiding - and why Karen won't even use his name. In any case though, the "wow" spam is so phoney that it defeats the whole purpose.
403 stores and onward and upward we go.... wagglepop now has something like 4.5k a month money to work with... and they may use that to make it even better.... but the big big advantage over all other sites including ebay is how it is the most buyer enjoyable... this in itself makes this the strongest contender for a real competitor to ebay... this will kill all off ebay sites.. so there will be alot of negative gunslingers out to put it down from the other sites as well many hired guns from ebay.. i was laughing at how it was crazy for this site to open and charge fees... a store at 10 dollars a month when so many places are free or 5 dollars.. thought that was ridiculous.... would not get any stores.... on this thread there is 35 pages of fast talk when it looked ridiculous but since so many stores has signed up no more talk here.... wonder why??? gunslingers?? to me it should be the opposite especially if one goes and sees the big big advantage this site has and seeing how fast it is growing.... this should excite people looking for real competitor to ebay.....excite all except the gunslingers...
look at this info from a poster... if this is true .. we have a WINNER!!
Just to let you know, Wagglepop uploads to froogle. They won't release exact details, due to it being proprietary marketing, but users are reporting VERY fast ability to find their listings within froogle after they post them...a couple even said faster than on eBay
if that is true WATCHOUT!!!  and watchout for the gunslingers calling names..!! it should be just the opposite for people looking for a competitor site for ebay... i hope wagglepop can withstand all the gunslingers coming fast at it now that this does seem like THE ONE !!!Â
Give me a friggin' break!

NOT! But I'm hoping that the combination of alternative sites will at least begin to make a difference, but comparing wp to ebay is just a way to disappoint people. Yes, wp is cheaper, but there are software quirks, questions about staffing, backing, and there is always a poof factor, so all I'm doing with wp is a "one day at time" outlook. So far I like it, but it would take years for it to become established if all goes well. That was one of the problems with wp1 is that the sellers ended up having unrealistic expectations.
