There is a misconception formed by the lurkers which has been expressed as fact on the WP board as well as others I've read. I hate ugly unfounded lies so I believe it is time to address the issue head on. Being; clicking on WP ads randomly. If your financial wad has been blown from your AdSmart account, don't look for the culprit here because they are not a resident. If you are suspicious of click throughs to your store check out another bar. No one's nursing that drink here. And
no one posting on TT has been, is presently, or will ever, stoop to the level of callously clicking on WP ads to drain accounts and place a further monetary burden on the misguided sellers who foolishly enrolled with the program. Many of us have recently posted confirmation in support of this. Listen up.
I searched this thread to find the basis for the birth of the accusation and what could possibly have given it substance to grow and fester. I found a few references to the AdSmart program to be sure, but the objective of each and everyone of them was to poke a stick at the vulnerability Karay was presenting to you as a seller or to warn WP sellers in an oblique way, who felt it was a step forward, that you were instead walking onto financial quicksand and could sink fast. The posting of addendums to CC1 posts and tongue in cheek sarcasm in "what if" scenarios about AdSmart were made to show
you how vulnerable
you were to this new program which is not designed to bring you sales but to benefit the coffers of WP. We pointed this out; we didn't execute it by example.
In defense of your claims, I impulsively I took on the role of devil's advocate and contacted some of the authors who contributed to this subject. I presented my research with wording as if I was a current popper, conveying how I could possibly interpret posts as many of you have done. I brought myself perilously close to losing the friendship of someone I hold in high esteem because of this approach and frankly, none of you are worth that sacrifice.
Ultimately
each and every one of those I contacted confirmed what
I initially read into their words and which I have outlined as their intent in the paragraph above. But your suspicious minds zeroed in on certain words instead of the flow of conversation, twisted them, assigned dark motives to their presentation and sounded the alarm throughout the WP kingdom. NEWS FLASH! On
our board we understand, appreciate and respect what is really being conveyed with these words. We recognize the writing style which individuals here on TT use to express themselves. And I for one believe in their sincerity.
If you folks keep circling the wagons like this in anticipation of every
perceived attack you'll either end up extremely dizzy or you'll lose a spoke of two. If you perpetuate the conviction we are contributing to your lack of success, you will only be taxing yourself and your business with unnecessary paranoia. If you think we are aiming our darts at you specifically then I recommend you find a new board. You are not the bulls eye we have our sights on - trust me.
People currently selling on WP who continue to believe this is our modus operandi after reading this post are the true malcontents who's sole purpose is to spread unflattering rumors in an attempt to besmirch our characters and assassinate our true intent. You should be ashamed of yourselves.Â
And to those who correctly perceive our lesson plans - Whoo Hoo!!!Â

ATTENTION WP LURKERS/SELLERS:
More simply put... we are not after anyone.... especially the sellers of WP. All we ask is that you try to see what we are trying to say regarding the validity and integrity of the OWNER of the site.Â
If even one iota of what we are saying is true, you owe it to yourself to listen. After all... in business you should trust no one but yourself to look out for yourself.
That is all... peace out.
