I have been PM'd by a WP seller who was watching the PSU thread and is so fed up with Ray's Koolaidfest she could She was further disgusted by Bud and her side kick's posts on PSU and the ribbing they gave me and claims she's not alone, but is, of course, keeping a low profile to avoid the radar until her listings are safely out of harm's way. 

I agree with Sweet, there are some talented sellers and hopefully they will discover Etsy, where their wares will be appreciated and they might stand a chance at making some money.

I suspect there are many people like this who prefer not to be vocal, but are paying close attention to what is being said - by both sides. We'll also never know how many would-be sellers found our thread or the one at PSU and decided to steer clear without ever asking a question or saying a word. Well done TTers, and WPers, hehe.

I have not been reading this as much as I was. So , if this has been beaten in to the ground someone could just tell me what post it was I can go back and read it. I need to reopen a store somewhere. I am thinking about ebay but sort of waiting to see what comes out of the conference this week. I have lots of books to sell, some crafts, and collectables. Would it be better to open a store at one of the book sites, and put my other stuff at a few other sites like etsy for my crafts. I was getting a few sells at ebay not a bunch but some. I need it to add income but not be sole income. I am skitish of free or cheap sites after wagglepop. When you want something you think of ebay , but fees are high. Any ideas.. thanks... oh what is the latest count at wagglepop. I was tring to go back and find a late post but did not see any yet.

I'm not a book seller, but from what I've read here and elsewhere, Amazon is your best bet for that. Sounds like the sell through & ASP are higher there than eBay. Someone with more experience will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure.

I've also heard great things about Etsy and may try them later in the spring for my own jewelry.

Well, Truth, most (the God and bankrupt miscreantes quotes, for example) are pure Ray -- the same guy who called eBay staff M*THER F*CKERS, B*STARDS, and lazy bums, whose cheerleaders label us low-lifes conducting a hate fest. One is Jim Jones (just prior to the mass suicide) and two from his son Stephan after the mass suicide. The last is obvious. Hard to tell who said what, right?

Ray is small time compared to the big guns in the cult world. The purpose of this exercise was to show that Ray and many of his most vocal proponents have an unheathy obsession with WP that goes beyond it being called any kind of business with normal, natural business relationships among its associates.

It is a free country. Cults, fraternal organizations, secret societies, fringe ideologies and similar entities have every protection under the law. The difference between WP and these others is that the others don't pretend to be something they are not. The most sinister part about WP, in my mind, is its pretense -- and that makes WP one big deception.

Just plug all those quotes into google and you will see who said what. Some are Ray originals and some are not but I believe Ray used all of those saying's at one time or another. Alskling please correct me if I am wrong. I know a few stem from the WP1 FAS threads and some are as of recently in the WP forums.

The growth in sales on ebay for some people is no joke. I have seen this as well the past few weeks. A reason for my growth is on certain items I sell my competition is nolonger selling the same products or any products at all in some cases. That's fine by me however I don't believe they stopped selling due to the fee increase, it may just be they are reorganizing at this time.

I have also noticed that the new #1 store on WP based on listings is pulling listings. They used to have an ebay store but that has closed and now they are selling items on ebay at core only. makes no sense considering the prices will be affected by the fee increases at ebay (I have seen starting prices from this seller at $9.95 on ebay now).

A side note is that there were 2 big stores that closed on WP in the last 10 days. I know which ones they were and a few people have pm'ed me with the info as well. Does everyone know which ones closed? Hint one was mentioned in this thread and the little known one was the biggest sports card store on WP.

Store #2 based on listings continues to pull listings a little at a time perhaps to add them to another venue like amazon. I wish that store the best and hope they have found there niche on another venue.

I find it disturbing that there are people who are on WP that feel they have to go undercover just to remove their listings and close up shop.  :blinkie:

I cannot think of any site where any seller has ever reported feeling like they have to undergo a covert operation just to leave. I can understand their hesitancy to post on the forum, but I have read too many stories from people who felt embarrassed, or confused from their close encounter with this site.

Not only do people appear to be hiding out from Ray, they also are very leery of the fanatic behavior exhibited by some sellers.

All I know is when I closed up shop on Ebay I didn't do it undercover, late at night, or have any reason to hide it.
